it's terrible to sit in line and wait 5 hours when the child is sick

Do not sit in the pink section in emergency if you or you baby is not covid positive you are getting directly exposed to covid without you knowledge. They are keeping people separate yeah a one or two year old will rely not touch anything for 3 hours sòoooooo mad

Worst place I’ve ever taken my child. Waited 2 hours to get triaged and wasn’t even triaged first or last because he wasn’t “sick enough” literally what the nurse told me when I questioned her. I have a very large family of nurses and doctors and they’re actually mind boggled nurse said he wasn’t sick enough to be prioritized. If there are cameras here you can hear her say it, I would not make it up. A letter will be written to the board about this matter as soon as I get home. He’s 1 year old, 4 days with a fever of 101.2 and hasn’t peed yet today. It’s 245 and he’s been awake since 6 am. But he’s not sick enough. Please take your kids else where. I drove here from the country in hopes my child would be seen by a good children friendly doctor, better off going to a walk in where you’re treated properly. This place needs help.

I came in with my sick baby who had the seizure and i am literally worried about my baby. The nurses in the triage and front desk are not responding properly. And the wait time is terrible.I would not recommend this hospital for emergency……

This hospital is a joke. Nobody cares and I am not sure why they even call it emergency. It should in fact be called after hours medical care.Especially being a children's hospital and not caring for the children when they need the most attention. we are sitting for 8 hours to get help. Just promises and feeding on people's tax money. The professionals here and I am not sure whether I should call them that they are the most insensitive human beings who really don't care. All they say is they don't know.

If you’re going to let people die because they are getting medical care for free( and they are not getting it)or if you are going to act indifferent towards their pain, then make them pay!!!The University Hospital whether it’s Children or Adults Emergency is a joke with all the staff working there! I wouldn’t give it any star BIG SHAME when you’re in a country like Canada and you can’t get medical care properly

Terrible as they don’t know what emergency means. Sitting there for 8 hours when kids have pain is unbearable. Not sure who to blame Government for not providing enough hospital or doctors. Free medical means **** here when you can’t get treated. Pls whoever deals with this help people here

Waiting time is endless. Sitting here for hours and it is not crowded but no chance to see a doctor yet. So much tax we pay for this broken useless system. A kid in pain has to wait hours and hours

I am waiting here since 12 hours with my child. Feeling helpless. Child didn't eat anything since 14 hours and not allowed to eat according to them until.surgeon arrives. I don't understand what takes that long juat to see a child for 2 min. I wish their system was little better

Just remove the name Emergency and a star which I just gave. Doesn't matter what time you go, doctor will see you around 7 or 8 if you're lucky.Came after 2 years and it just got worse. The wait time is 4 hours and still counting. Paid healthcare is a better option than this type of free healthcare.Amazon prime is faster than these emergency services.
