Daniel DeSousa is an amazing instructor! He was not only a charming young man, but he spoke clearly which made learning super easy! Daniel was always very calm, patient and answered any questions I had and because of that I always looked forward to these driving lessons. He not only made me a great driver, he made me a confidant driver and because of that I now have my class 5 license. I highly recommend him! Thanks a lot Daniel!

I would definitely recommend Derek Brown's Academy Of Driving. I had a very good experience with Qusay, he was a great instructor. His many years of experience driving helped being navigated around town as well as extra knowledge for the road. This driving school has a great planned out program to build a strong foundation of driving and working upward.

Very happy to have completed my MELT Class 1 program at Derek Brown Driving School and passed my road test on the 1st attempt. Ali was my driving instructor who was awesome and pushed me to become better and better after each driving session. My classroom instructors, Dan Veno were also very supportive and great at teaching. Would recommend this school to anyone who wants to get their Class 1.Also want to mention office staff especially Pam very friendly and helpful and like to thank Hamza owner of the school very accommodating and take special interests in every student.

Passed my test on the first try after studying at Derek Brown. Ahmed was an amazing instructor to learn from. He was super friendly and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel. He created the perfect learning environment, and used clear instructions. I totally recommend using this school for preparing for your road test.

Had a very good experience with Quasay! We had 4 sessions and he is incredibly great and patient during those sessions (especially on my first day). I had fun learning new stuff with him, he is a very knowledgeable instructor who is willing to teach every small details that are not in the book. He basically taught me everything that I have to know including scenarios that I wasn't aware of. Highly recommend having him as a Driving instructor!!!! He’s gonna make you feel good about driving and will also teach you solid techniques.

My classroom portion was with Sajid and my road training was with Robert.Sajid is thorough with his instructing and ensures you’re engaged. He is clear and precise making everything easy to understand. It almost feels like a college course.I passed his class with flying colours. The only way to fail his class is if you’re asleep.Robert is an amazing driving instructor. He gives easy to remember instructions with manoeuvres like parallel parking or merging. His unique humour helps you feel comfortable putting your mind at ease. He will let you know what you should work on and help you perfect it.Because of him, I passed my road test!Both instructors have decades of experience on and off the road and it shows through their teaching methods.Derek Browns may be a bit pricier than others but it’s because of the quality of their services. The pick-up/drop-off is anywhere in the city (as opposed to some others where there’s a designated area).There’s a reason why they’ve been around for decades. Some of my classmates lived in the far south and came all the way there just for the course.Spend the extra few dollars and go to Derek Browns.

My instructor (Daniel) is extremely educational, well informed and very patient. He is a wonderful teacher constantly explaining the rules of the road, signage and best practices.

Awesome driving school! I have had 4 lessons with Qusay and I’m so glad I got him as my driving instructor. He is extremely knowledgeable, and is willing to share his knowledge with his students. He never leaves a question unanswered and tells you why the rules are the way they are. So happy to be paired with him!! 10/10 would recommend to students looking for driving instructors with Derek Browns!

Started my Class 1 course with Derek Brown's a few months back now. I was pretty nervous all around and was not sure how it was all going to go. Once I got to know some of the people there, the Derrick Brown's team really had my back from the beginning. If I needed help or understanding of something, there was always someone there to help. Big Thanks to Dan V. I could not have had a better instructor for both in class and the driving part of the course. I promise I won't drive it like a Ferrari! =)Thanks as well too Bilal for all my pre-trip needs. I only lost 15 points at the end and I was really happy with the step by step training made available. Thanks to Hasson all around for my air brakes.Once again big thanks to the Derek Brown's team! I could not have passed first try without all of you putting up with me.Thank you!!!
