The Surrey Food Bank operates the Cloverdale Food Distribution Depot on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at Hillside Christian Church.

There is Counselling offered in building A - Dr. Harry Janzen and his daughter marry anne contacted me to groom their dog Charlie and when I told Mr. Janzen my price point he got in my face and told me I can’t charge the same prices as he does per hour because I don’t have a degree like he does ..he and his daughter told me I’m just a groomer a person who cuts dogs hair .His daughter proceeded to send me emails and reviews trying to degrade me.i was shocked by the amount of Unprofessionalism and that he felt more Superior to me based on his degree and was very upset that my fees for my business were similar to his although I don’t carry the same degree as he doesI got from Mr. Janzen and his daughter Mary Anne. These people preach god but show now compassion and extremely rude and judgmental .I would highly recommend seeing a councillor else where that does what he preaches and does not de-value others.I certainly wouldn’t recommend wasting your time and money unless you want to be judged .I would be happy to farward the emails and reviews left by these people it is very clear instead of excepting my own fees and looking for another groomer that fits their budget , they tried to taint my business and then further emailed me and spoke directly to me in a very rude and judgmental way simply because my fees resembles one of a person with a degree.This review is left because the work he does is one that should come from not only with with the proper Knowledge but also from one that does not disrespect others or degrade others or judge others .I would be happy to forward all correspondence emails showing the amount of Entitlement this family has simply due to a degree and that they spoke with an amount of disrespect that god himself would be disappointed with .Spend your money with a more Credible counsellor

Harry janzen a councillor that works here unfortunately has spoken to my wife in a very Demeaning way simply because he felt he was higher up because he Cary’s a degree.My wife is very educated and has degrees but he and his daughter Mary Anne did not like the price point my wife gave him and instead of waking away and going else where they made it a point to Harass her with emails and messages and Google reviews lying and trying to make her look badFortunately for my wife she runs a successful business and steady and growing clientele I will not suffer anything from what they tried to hurt.This family feels very entitled and think they are above anyone who does not have the same education or those that do no step down to what they can afford.When you inquire cost about a Business and you don’t like the quotes you are given you simply say thank you and find someone else that is better suited for your price budget there was no need for all the nasty and degrading comments .I read the emails and message this family left to my wife and I’m Appalled that this came from a family that lives by god , attends church and harry provides Counselling service to people that should never be degraded or judged .Would not recommend you waste your time with harry save your money and go else where

These people RICHARD — pray on the weak & vulnerable… my Aunt ERIN THOMPSON was manipulated out of 20k!! These “people” will use you!! They’re closer to the devil then GOD — please do not trust these wolves!!

The food bank here is really amazing. never really been to the actual Church though.

Was actually picking up grand kids from Surrey Christian school nextdoor. All 4 of them like the school and are thriving. Great place to send your kids.
