Great for private events. Really cool drinks!

Went there for a catered office party and the appetizers they served were kind of uninteresting...mundane and flavour repetitive. The space is very warm and welcoming and there are a variety of seating choices. I think it's a great place to meet for drinks but I may pass on the food the next time.

The good: my partner booked the back patio space for a private event, the staff were very nice, the food portions were generous and the drinks were tasty.The bad: when it came to settling the bill, the staff accidentally left off all the food so in the final hour of the event, we were continuously told that we were still $400 away from minimum spend.The ugly: because of this misinformation, we kept ordering more rounds of shots, rounds of drinks for the kitchen, and when we were told we still hadn’t hit min spend even though everyone was way past plastered, we ended up buying marked up bottles of $20 wine. When my partner finally caught the mistake in the billing, it took 40 minutes for management to try and refund us for the wine - which could not be done in their system. Management offered a couple options to try and “net out” the wine vs the food, but at that point we were super drunk and not at our sharpest, so we’re unsure if it was a good resolution.We do think this was an honest mistake, but it ended up in many of our guests overpaying for extra rounds (and being way over served) to try and help us hit the spend - when we had already reached it hours ago.So if you have an event here, check your bill first.

I recently booked The Refinery for our company Christmas party. The venue and staff are amazing (if Keith is in, he's the best)! The drink selection is exceptional, with many great recommendations from the bartenders and waitresses. The food was quite good, we had expected larger quantities of food, so some people were still hungry at the end of the night. Besides that everything was amazing. We will definitely be booking again for our party next year. Thanks, guys!

If you’re looking to host a small event, look no further! The venue is nice and open, and you can bring a DJ to hook up to their sound system. The service is amazing and food is decent.

Amazing service. Booked a reservation here for a birthday party consisting of around 30 people. The refinery was extremely accommodating and the guy who I talked to on the phone to set up the reservation was so nice. The set up was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. We had the lounge area to ourselves and it was perfect for drinks and appies. Will definitely use this place again for future parties. The service was great too and very organized.

Thank you for an amazing and memorable experience for my husband's birthday!! We had a cocktail style party with gourmet appetizers and drinks, it was perfect! Staff was outstanding and went above and beyond, the food was delicious and the service impeccable!!

I celebrated my 40th Birthday at The Refinery last night and I have to say it was hands down the best venue for it. The food was delicious (I ordered off the Canape menu) and everyone was so accommodating. We had many questions about the venue and how things would work for last night and each one was answered, really appreciated the patience with that! Staff were great and my guests enjoyed themselves. I would definitely recommend this place and would do an event here again in the future without any hesitation.

Amazing staff and owners, and incredibly flexible space for any sort specific event with amazing appetizers and cocktail packages, the Refinery entails what it's name insinuates; refined and sublime.
