Did my minimalist tattoo with Shaun yesterday and what an amazing experience! Although it was very small and simple I was so nervous as I hate needles and have little pain tolerance. He was so understanding and friendly. I have done 2 other tattoos in the past with different artists at 2 different places and they were not very friendly or understanding of my fears so I was really dreading getting this tattoo although I wanted it so bad. Shaun went above and beyond, I have already recommended him to friends and will only go to him in the future when I want more ink. Thank you Shaun!

Art Studio Tattoos is the SINGLE greatest tattoo parlor in existence!! The atmosphere, the ambience, the feeling...everything about this place just screams art, a very creative art so to speak! Guy Abergel (the owner) really takes his time to work with you one on one on the ideas and the pieces being chosen, after all it's customed just for you!! Any suggestions made by him are hard to argue against because he has A LOT of experience in what looks good and what doesn't. Trust me, he's THAT good!! I already have good 45 or some odd hours under his needle as he's done a shoulder piece as well as a full sleeve on me!! Go there, see the place, get a piece for yourself and you'll leave with nothing but a big smile EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Guy, ata gadol gever!

I have had 3 sessions with Shaun, what an absolute beauty. Professional, excellent work, amazing attantion to detail, all around great experience. Nothing is rushed and the conversation about the tattoo can lead any way you wish to make the experience and tattoo exactly as you like. I Very much recommend Shaun and this tattoo studio.

Guy is really an amazing artist. I have had several tattoo artists previous to finding him. His attention to detail is first class and he's worth every penny.

Shaun has done two fairly big pieces for me. Both have turned out amazing and will definitely be going back to add more. The shop was clean and design process stress free. Thanks for the amazing ink!

So, I really didn’t want to to have to write a review because I was hoping the situation would be dealt with in a professional manner. I did ask for the shop owners information and was ignored so.My friend recommended Shawn as he’s done her tattoos for several year and they looked good or what iv seen of them so over Instagram I contacted Shawn to see if what I wanted was doable which he said it was (bee with a crown above it) after a few weeks of planning back and forth I mentioned the “graffiti” crown he was pushing wasnt my style and didn’t go with the bee so the day of I sent a version of a simple crown above A bee and shawn added it he assured me everything would look better when it was done … unfortunately not. I also was told the shop only took cash and when I went to pay he told me he didn’t even have 10 dollars change so he made an extra 10 dollars.4 days later I contacted him as he was going to Alberta didn’t get a response then when he did respond and I explained the crown didn’t look right let alone centered as the one wing looking off I was pretty much told it was my fault as a client because I didn’t catch it not being centered ?! Even though I thought that was the job of the artist well any other tattoo artist iv had did that after a few back and forth Messages it became clear he thought it was a joke I was unhappy with it and also Wanted to charge me 100 dollars to have a crown smaller than a dime that he admired he put on knowing it was crooked fixed. I explained that I didn’t think that was fair plus at this point didn’t really want him touching it. The finally correspondence I got from him I was given the “sorry you feel that way… and your unhappy with the tattoo” also again saying it was my fault he put it on crooked because the original picture I sent was crooked ?! Which it was in fact not.At this point I realized there was no point in engaging with him and asked for the shop owner contact information so this could be discussed with someone more professional I guess and a Picture showing the original image I sent him which was in-fact symmetrical and was Ignored.I have attracted screen shots of the conversation since I know some people that have had good experiences won’t want to believe it.Now I’m looking at having to have it lazered after talking to 3 other experienced artists. I’mVery disappointed and will NOT recommend him in the future it’s very unfortunate as iv never had this problem before and it seems as though he was just looking for a quick bucks on a small tattoo and rushed It and wont Take responsibility super disappointing and very Unprofessional.I also contacted him nov 12 both 2 weeks after it was completed as you can see in the screen shots provided *
