This time was good. Oil change was quick and friendly service. Although last time I did not receive a message to rate my experience I’m thinking the main reason was I asked for an oil change as normal and it was suggested that my truck was due to have the cooling system flushed and the spark plugs changed. I said yes go ahead with the work. I received a phone call around three pm stating that they had to order the spark plugs. I said that was fine I’ll just change them myself as it’s not a big deal and I would come pick the vehicle up. Was told finally that nothing had been done on my vehicle the entire day. I then said to complete the oil change and I’d be there within the hour to get it. I’ve got my oil changed there the entire life of the vehicle and always received one of these comment forms and that time I didn’t lol I wonder why? That was a lot of money I was willing to spend but was lost by yourselves.

My experience was amazing with having Andrew give communication weekly to let me know how things were going as I was waiting for parts for my car. As times can be stressful he made this less, with positive great service . efficient with getting things done and giving great time management as answered and explained everything. I had repairs done on the hub assembly of my 2017 F-150 at Bennett Dunlop Ford. Three weeks later, the tie rod came loose, causing me to crash into a concrete wall of an underpass. The cause of the crash was a tie rod which was not properly re-installed by a technician at the dealership. Thankfully, the incident occurred in the city, as my family and I often drive on the highway, which could have resulted in a much worse outcome.The shop covered the cost of towing and repaired the damage I initially identified. However, when I inspected the vehicle a few days later, I discovered additional damage that they had to fix.Despite visiting the shop three times, I was not provided with any service records. They always email me, even for simple tasks like an oil change, but they gave me no indication that they thoroughly inspected the truck for hidden damage or checked the alignment after the tie rod replacement and collision.I was disappointed that none of the three members of their leadership team considered washing my truck before returning it to me. It took some prompting, but eventually, they cleaned my truck. However, it's disheartening that they didn't take any proactive measures or offer a gesture of goodwill considering their negligence that put my family's lives at risk.For a company that prides itself on customer service, they failed to inform me that they performed even the basic checks to assure me that everything was thoroughly examined and no additional damage occurred. They were purely reactive in their approach, when being proactive could have made a significant difference. In the end, Bennett Dunlop Ford chose to do the bare minimum.

The staff are friendly and welcoming but this last time I was in for an oil change and then received a text from Bennett stating I needed a new blinker bulb for 52 bucks and a brake service for $108. When I responded stating that should have been done when it was in for 2.5 months while I waited for a transmission, she said she would check. She then sent a text back stating it was done so not needed. If I would not have questioned it they would have done it and charged me an extra $110 for no reason.

After a recent visit on June 21st I was given the opportunity to write a review. Initially I reached back out and advised that the process to get the repair completed took a week shy of 6 months with contact via multiple team members and methods. There were breakdowns along the way and promises made, broken , wrong information given and generally a very bitter taste left in the mouth.The team member on chat the morning of the 22nd advised that the concerns were noted and a member of the management would reach out. Seven days later that has not happened so I think it is safe to say I can relay my experience here to inform others on what they could potentially expect.December 23, 2022 Noon - connected via the chat feature to follow up on a recall notice. The conversation was engaging and they advise the parts would be ordered and someone from the team would call to book me in.March 2023 - given the common supply chain issues at the time I waited 12 weeks to follow up via the phone. The associate fielding calls via the service team informed me that the parts has been received ten weeks ago and they were waiting for me. I asked why no one didn’t to follow up on the chat. No apology was offered but they advised I could come in and wait in the lobby while the Quick lane folks looked after me. They cautioned me to Wait a few weeks as they were busy with clients swapping winter tires out. I figured this has gone on long enough so what was a couple more weeks or more.June 20, 2023 - 14:45 I stopped by after work to see if it was convent for the Quick Lane team to assist. The associate that I spoke with advise that it would need to be booked in and that they were not able to locate any recall items on my file that required work.June 20, 2023 16:16 I called the dealership and spoke with Rosetta, explained the situation and she indicated that she could see immediately the recall item, that parts were in stock still and apologized for the series of events. She was able to book me in the following day for the work to be completed.The series of interactions, wrong information and a lack of attention to detail is frustrating to say the least. I understand and appreciate that people generally don’t come to work to screw up but at what point will leaders of an organization take accountability for gaps in their client experience and reach back out when given the opportunity to hear from a client rather than read this online for all to see.So my suggestion is this; keep it in mind and prepare yourself for things to be rocky.

We are satisfied with the repair to our car. It took a little longer than we expected which was a bit of an inconvenience due to the fact we live 50 miles out of the city. We are very impressed with the description of what the cause of our problem was!!! Very detailed and easy to understand. The mechanic who worked on our car knows his stuff!!! Just an excellent mechanic!!! Bennett has excellent staff they can be proud of.

He found me the perfect vehicle at a good price, and he was very kind. Appreciated!Service at Bennett is great, too, but I’ll save that for another review :-)
