Jil came up with a functional layout for a challenging open space layout. She was able to visualize how to not only create distinct spaces but to also tie it all together so that the openness was not lost. I like that Jil was already on the same page with what I was thinking so solidifying the concept with her professional insight brought things home for me. This was all done remotely through the design software that she uses which worked well. She provided examples of everything so I’m able to source things where I live - this really help and I’ve already started ordering the furniture. Thanks Jil!

Jil was a dream to work with when we built our home. She is particularly talented with colour palatte, something that I find very challenging and overwhelming. She was a wealth of information about where to find what I was looking for, always delivered what she promised on time or early, and most importantly, made our collaboration comfortable and a joyful. We have worked with Jil for the last few months while finalizing the details on a new build. She has been excellent to work with on this project. There are many details that need to be discussed on a new build. Jil has the experience that we required on this project and she was able to provide us two dimensional and three dimensional drawings for all of the rooms in our new home. These drawings show the placement of all of our furniture and by having this resource we were able to meet with our builder, with Jil present, and discuss the details of the build. We were able to actually move some walls and make changes to our plans that were critical for getting the end project that we envisioned. Jil always responds back to us in a timely manner and brings a lot of great ideas forward for us to review. She has been very flexible in her thinking and has guided us in a direction that has resulted in a project that has been both exciting and rewarding. We would recommend her decorating and planning service to anyone that is looking for a true professional in this field!

This review is a long time coming! I have not only worked with Jil professionally, I have also worked with her on two projects of my own. In my profession, I work with hundreds of designers in the Greater Vancouver area, including the Fraser Valley and Sea to Sky, but only one designer for my home projects! Jil is professional, easy to work with, organized, and is really nice too! Jil made recommendations that were price sensitive, I was considering a new kitchen countertop and Jil didn't feel it was necessary. She was right - the existing countertop looks great with the changes we made. Jil made significant interior design updates making our home feel fresh and like it truly belongs to us.

EVERY SINGLE DAY, I feel such joy and gratitude to Jil when I walk into my renovated kitchen/sunroom space. With her expert help, we converted a clunky sunroom, and closed-off kitchen in my very small home into a beautifully designed open, multi-purpose space that accommodates my office, dining, socializing & bar area. Jil helped us find the right people to match and replace some tricky crown molding. Marcus got us organized and Neil was a super skilled craftsman, conscientious, explained things clearly, and was careful and respectful with Covid safety. I am super happy with the results and would work with any of these people again in a heart-beat.
