Less Mess Enviro Bag

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this company in Ottawa. I give a two star because the soil arrived at the end and the people were friendly. However, the procedure did not go as promised. First, they gave me a date for two weeks for delivery. I was supposed to be called one they before the delivery. No one called me, then I called them but still no delivery. Next day I called again. They apologized and gave me another date. One day before the new date, again no one called me (the procedure is that they must call you). Then I called for the third time. Finally , the next morning, I received an email at 8, the soil came at 10:30. However, they couldn’t put the soil on my x sign, which they wanted me to put. They were promising a 10ft wide x 14ft tall forklift to place our bag, but the forklift wasn’t even 3ft. That was really frustrating. I still thank to the guy who was trying to help.I wouldn’t recommend this company if you don’t live near the company’s location in Concord.

Well, after today talk with one of management team, I was offered to get refund for not safe (play ground mulch) 60$ less from what I pay. Again, I would highly recommend people to look out for this Company all over Canada when you get you mulch for play ground, a specially for those whom have small kids (infants or small toddlers). Mulch it self has a very sharp ends, if your kids step in it it will end it up in their feet or worse. Manager Matt today said that he will not give full refund and never will, also telling me that this mulch is safe etc. no it’s not!! Out of the principal I will demand to stop their misinformation and misleading to people!

We placed an order for the ultra blend Less Mess large bag of soil and it arrived absolutely on the day that we were promised it would. The delivery driver was extremely courteous, took very good care of the bag while offloading it and placed it exactly where we wanted it. We have already used the whole bag for our new garden beds. I'm sure all the vegetables and flowers are going to do very well. Can't wait to see the results.

Had a bad really experience with this company. I paid the $60 reschedule fee and they ignored the reschedule date and forced a delivery on their schedule. It was a fake reschedule. Would rate them lower if possible. Had to keep calling to ask again to follow the date we agreed on. They just want to make the dump and ignored me. Wont buy from them again. Am ok paying higher fee for a company that will play fair with their own policies and customer service.

my experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The entire process was efficient and well-coordinated, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The delivery time was incredibly impressive. The provided tracking system allowed me to monitor the progress of the delivery from the moment the truck departed the warehouse. They do not provide a delivery time with considerable precision. I ordered a yard of soil for a client and provided very specific instructions on where to drop the bag, which were not followed. The delivery driver asked the people who were AirBnBing the house where to drop the bag despite already having clear instructions and ended up placing the bag on a garden bed, which is absurd to anyone in their right mind and caused damage to plants. I contacted the company and had to fight tooth and nail before they agreed to provide a partial refund which they ultimately never did. This resulted in more work for me for what should have been a simple and quick job and a higher bill for my client.

Online ordering is simple. Quality is good. Delivery is on time, and customer service is very friendly. This is my first time buying from Less Mess, and the service is excellent. I would highly recommend Less Mess for your gardening needs.

I live in a condo so it was a complex delivery, but the driver was smart! He parked one street over and drove the dirt over with the forklift! I also really appreciated the online delivery tracking. It was accurate and super convenient!

This is my first time ordering with Less Mess. I got a call saying the delivery of my top soil bag would be a few days late. This is fine, but I was told that I would get a call before the delivery and it didn't happen. They just dumped it on the side of my driveway one day when I wasn't home. I left instructions on where to leave the bag when I made the order and they didn't follow the instructions. Now I can't park my car. We tried moving the bag but it is really heavy and it cannot be moved with only two persons. Even if we were able to, it would probably rip the bottom of the bag. Simply bad service.

Couldn't have been easier. Loved the tracking system. Not sitting around all day waiting. Knew which drop I was, approx time and could track the driver on his way here. It was perfect.
