I discovered Earth Culture over a year ago. Rich and Theonna are very knowledgeable and have a great selection of products. You can find what you need to help your plant grow or help fight off pest you might have. Rich and Theonna have given me their honest advice on issues I had and how to deal with it. You won't be pressured to buy their products. Was excited when I was able to test my plant and it was close to home. I highly recommend the store and you won't be disappointed in the service or knowledge.

Great experience today, I went in for some products with limited knowledge and they totally went above and beyond. Earth culture is the go to place in Durham for all your hydroponic needs. They carry a good selection of substrate , fertilized, orchid/net pots just to name a few of the essentials for your growing needs. The owners Rich and Theonna are the best in customer service and are quick lend a hand in getting that 50L bag of Leca to the trunk of your car. I speak from experience when I say the will go the extra mile to help you source gardening materials that is not on their shelf.

We just went in to buy some food for a plant, I don't know much about plants I was just accompanying my husband. I learned so much in the 5 minutes I was there. The owners are super knowledgeable and helpful. They showed us everything we needed and taught us about our plants. They also gave us so many free goodies. 100% recommend this store if you're looking for friendly professional help.

I needed some beneficial bugs and decided to order some from Earth Culture. Rich was very helpful and knowledgeable on the types of bugs I needed for my plants. When I got to the store, he answered all my random questions regarding some of the products in stock as well :) 100% would recommend and I will be back!

My experience at this store was fantastic. Just about every item and supply one would need to grow just about anything in just about any condition. The shop is well organized with pricing out where you can see it. Rich and his wife were extremely helpful with all of my questions. If they lacked information on something they actually reached out to another professional for information. When a supply was either out of stock or wasn't something they regularly carried, they offered to order it from their supplier for me or even another solution using engenuity and not requiring money spent.

I had the utmost pleasure purchasing a plant, orchid mix soil from Earth Culture. Rich and his team were really kind in getting the delivery to me one day early and I got to meet Rich who hand-delivered my orders. Very pleasant surprise and a gentleman. Thanks to you I can now pot my orchids and enjoy the philodendron pink princess. Nice touch to the customer experince when I saw a copy of the Garden Culture magazine! Thrilled at this whole experience. Thanks to Rich and Team. I will be getting more cool things for my planta from Earth Culture!
