In life there are many types of people good people bad people, a wide variety. As a business owner I know it's hard to please everyone. You simply can't.In the motorcycle world ,the pressures are great. Everyone want it now for as cheap as possible...with attitude.I found Jon to be a man of character and he helped me effortlessly and made a seemingly I.possible situation look so simple. I guess that's what 40 years of experience gets you. Screw the haters Jon. Your a good .an. thanks for the help.

A wonderful little bike shop, very friendly staff and lots of interesting things to look at. I could spend hours there. As well as service and repair, they buiild many custom bikes. Come look you'll be glad you did. (They also have a website and Facebook page)

Terrible experience. Hopping to have my bike ready for summer and excuse after excuse. They took my money and did nothing. When I went back to get my bike he refused to give me back the money. Sad experience. Save yourself the trouble move on to someone that will get the job done.

My bike went into his shop with a brand new lithium battery. 300 bucks from Trev Dealy. When I got the bike back there was an old used battery in place of mine. My 09 nightster originally went in for new fender struts, re mount the back fender and lights. Licence plate bracket and tank emblems were also a part of the job. I had to pay for those myself in the end or they would never have gotten done. Jon estimated the job to be $1500 in the beginning witch changed to 2 grand in the end. The back fender wasn't even mounted straight. The welds look like a 12 year olds work. All the work has to be re done at a real bike shop. Not impressed. I feel completely ripped off in the end. Stay away from Jon Armstrong and Madmans custom chop shop!!!!

Waste of time standing around waiting to find a part. Very unorganized and unable to follow through as planned. Returned too many times to get work done as planned just to be ignored.

Madmans custom cycles is dishonest about everything they do. I spent $2000 at this shop and all the work has to be done again. Major ripoff.

I was immediately welcomed with a handshake, had quality work done for a great price. So whenever I had trouble with my bike I would always come back. I broke down on the side of the road one day and all I had to do was call him and he guided me through the problem, a few minutes later I was back on the road.I'll tell you something about Jon, he's old school and if you're anything other than just that he won't like you. He won't want to work on your bike. He's a true blue biker and is always busy regardless of the negative posts before mine. But as we all know, you can't make them all happy. When you go to a mans garage, especially an independent garage, you gotta respect their space. Cluttered? Yes. Plenty of parts? Oh yeah. Worth the time to stand around and wait? Always. Maybe make conversation next time and learn a thing or two. These old mechanics are a dying breed, show some respect, or just go to some corporate garage.

Worst shop ever. Jon scheduled me on a long weekend early morning and even though I confirmed my appointment a few days before, when I actually showed up at 10 am to the shop it wasnt even opened. I called him and he started making excuses like my phone was jammed I couldn't tell you and the parts aren't even here". I then asked to reschedule so I don't have to ride for 45 mins on my bike that needed to be fixed he says "I'll call ya" then hung up.Please spend the extra money and go somewhere better. I hope I saved someone their time and money."

Went to inquire about a bike for sale on Facebook marketplace. Turns out they sold it over a year ago, but left the listing up. They moved, and left no new address, and never answered phone when I called. When I found the place, they tried to get me to buy a 1500cc Harley, when all I had asked for was a bobber in the 650cc range. Harley was a mess for the $5000 they wanted. Needless to say, I walked..shady shop, no doubt. The bike they claimed they sold a year ago, was apart in the corner with a different front fork assembly..avoid this place at all cost. They want your money, and nothing more. Got the bike i wanted somewhere else, from an honest seller.
