Would stay far far away from this company. Price is ok however, very very poor professionalism. They give you an installation date and you are up to a wild wild ride with them.Their kijiji sales person is all over you until you pay the deposit and after that all excuses after excuses. He is also rude.The lady part-owner is professional until you pay them the deposit and set the installation date and do the measurements after that no follow up or conformation of the install date.The part-owner/cutter/installer is so rude. I had to tell him that if he/they don't stop with their unprofessionalism and silly excuses that I would be forced to get the police involved. He got so mad instantly when I mentioned police and started using bad language and being so so rude. In my opinion this guy should NOT be doing business at all.They returned my deposit back however, dealing with this outfit has caused me and my family so much unnecessary driving around, wasted so much of our time and have caused a lot of grief and stress. At the end they will blame all on you as it was your fault because you want your job done as you have negotiated and arranged with them.At the end I am so glad that they did not do my work since God knows only what kind a job they would've done and what would've happened.Would not recommend this company to anyone.

We had a small job to cut the end of a counter off. The gentlemen who came to the house to do the job were polite, prompt and professional. We were pleased with the workmanship. The communication by telephone and text was always prompt. We are glad that we had Contemporary Stones do the job.

Will was great to deal with. Very accommodating and made sure I was happy with every selection I made. He is the type of person that would go above and beyond to help his customer and makes sure you are happy with the quality. I was very impressed with the selection he offered in quartz and I was able to easily match the colour I was looking for. I would definitely recommend Contemporary Natural Stone to my friends and family!

Update 8/15/2019: They fixed the tables by taking them back to the shop. Finally look great after 4 months. Appreciate them making it right despite the time taken. Original Review: I ordered custom quartz tables in April 2019, they were ready in 2 days, Great!, I take them home and they had marks on them that no measure of cleaning would remove. I reached out on April 22, to get this fixed. They tried to fix over a few visits over months apart ☹ not able to fix. I wasn't in a rush as it was a secondary room. They said they would resolve by replacing and I have been waiting 2 months since they said that.... Still willing to change my review since I am that nice if they will just fix this...

We had a couple of smaller granite projects we wanted done. A couple ledges and a table. Leigh was great to deal with. These jobs were not straight forward and required a lot of measurements and would have been very time consuming. This is a busy company so their time frame was not always the same as ours but it was worth the wait. Mike and Jeremy's installation was exceptional. They do wonderful work and their prices are very good also!! I would highly recommend Contemporary Surfaces!!

I was impressed by the quick service and pricing with Contemporary. My wife called and in less than 48 hours we had the perfect custom vanity countertop with sink cutout and our own sink installed.Calling is best, but they'll get the job done and done right.I had our kitchen quartz countertop done and they made a mistake measuring and cut out the sink in the wrong place. They had to purchase a new slab and cut it again in order to make it right for no extra cost. They were very professional and do speedy easy installs.

For our kitchen reno, we had Contemporary Surfaces install our quartz countertops. Leigh and the team were great to work with. We called Leigh and she showed us some samples from their suppliers. They had a nice selection since they work with a number of different suppliers. Once we picked our quartz countertop, Leigh gave us a quote, which was very reasonable. Actually, we thought we got a really great piece of stone for the price. Much better than other places we looked at.During our reno, we had some issues with some other trades and had to reschedule our countertop install date. Leigh was very gracious and understanding. During the templating and install, Mike came, and he was very polite and professional. They did a good job installing the countertop.Overall, we are very happy with our countertops and the service we got.RC
