Perfect Quality and Execution Green Side Up Contracting offers truly excellent quality work. They did over a 1000sq.feet of interlocking and decking at my home and the execution was brilliant. First, they demolished the old slabs and earth more than 30cm deep and laid a solid foundation of stones. Then they placed the new stones perfectly. That the quality they made exceeded my expectations. Extremely professional work. I want to give the biggest thanks to the boss Jay who is always smiling, friendly and always ready to help. He answers all questions and phone calls immediately and very competently. Many thanks also to Rob, who is an outstanding professional and a very responsive manager. I also want to thank for the good work and dedication of the whole team, highlighting the great professional qualities of Brandon, and Melvin for interlocking and Jamie - the carpenter for decking. To anyone looking for excellent quality interlocking and decks, I highly recommend Green Side Up Contracting - Truly one of the best companies in the industry.

We were looking at getting a few projects done this year to enjoy our outdoor space but had a few needs. From fencing, gate work, building a back patio and driveway extension.I didn't want to deal with multiple contractors and wanted someone knew their stuff. I met with multiple contractors, all said they'll just build me what I want, without addressing my biggest concern, which was dealing with a huge sloping issue both in front and back. Jay was the only one that said we can't and won't do what you want because it'll fail and why. The honesty and professionalism was the start of our relationship. The detailed estimate was sent, which left no room for surprises and no changes were done without consultation.First was the fence work. Jay had Daniel's team come, install new posts, fence and a new gate within 2 days work. Daniel kept me in the loop for finishing details, otherwise there was not much involvement on my end which was a relief. Swift clean up and on to the wait for the stone crew to come in.Rob and his team came in after to work on the patio and driveway. Before starting the front or back, he took the time each time to first walk through the area and advise on any potential issues that may arise. Throughout the project, if there were any adjustments or decisions to be made, different options with pros and cons were always laid out. It made us feel happily at ease knowing someone who cared was doing the project. I was expecting a lot of material being laid out everywhere but to my surprise, they were super organized, and had deliveries in increments to the tune of only what's needed for the day. Before end of each workday, the work site was cleaned up, roads brushed and tools tucked away. Needless to say, my neighbours appreciated it also. The weather wasn't our friend during this process, but Rob's team fought through it and had our job completed on schedule.This company certainly aims to please their clients. You are paying for great quality and peace of mind. My wife and I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone looking to have any landscaping done. Will look to use them soon again when we start our indoor renovation projects.

Great Job !!! Green Side Up did our backyard landscaping which included, interlocking, cement pad for swim spa, new fence around the entire yard, a small two level deck, raised planters, and spot for our dog, Ollie, to do his business! Green Side up was our choice after reviewing three other contractors, they were very transparent and fair when it came to pricing and making changes. Jay would always come and see us to make sure we were getting what we wanted. Jay and Rob would always consult us if there were a few different options or changes that needed to be made. Rob and his crew did an amazing job with all the stone work. Jamie and his mate did an excellent job with the Deck, and Daniel and his team did a great job with the fence. We highly recommend Green Side Up to others and we will call them up for any other work in the future.

We had an excellent experience with Green Side Up! They demolished and then rebuilt a large, elevated deck in our backyard. The result was a beautiful deck that we are thrilled with. But just as important was Jay and his team. Jay was a pleasure to work with and he was the reason we chose Green Side Up over other builders. He's dependable, trustworthy, transparent, and super friendly. He and Rob were available throughout the project to answer questions and ensure things were moving smoothly. We were also impressed by the crew that built the deck. They were very respectful of our property and belongings, and made sure to include us in decisions that had to be made on the job site. They made an effort to keep debris off our pool cover, which we appreciated. They cleaned up the job site at the end and made sure we were happy with the work. We wouldn't hesitate to use Green Side Up again in the future, and highly recommend them to others!

Corey, Travis and Jay were absolutely fantastic to deal with. Great crew and super profesional. They were always on time and left the site clean every day. Corey who was managing the build was obsessed" with making sure the final product was up to standards and that we were happy with the fence. I have seen other fences built with poor quality standards and the one they built I am sure will outlive me. Highly recommend this company if you have any fencing

Finding a contractor who checks all the boxes is no small feat. Well I'm here to say that Greenside Up Contracting does just that. From start to finish in the building of my fence, Jay and his team of Corey and Travis were highly professional. They were responsive to my input, skilled in their work, competitive in their pricing, completed my fence within the timeline given and most especially, were there for follow-up years later when I wanted a few boards replaced that had slightly discoloured. While not under warranty, Jay has his team came out and replaced the boards free of charge. When they were leaving after replacing the boards, Jay and team said, please let us know if there is anything we can do for you in the future. So impressive!

I hired Green Side Up Contracting to renew my old deck and build fences for my backyard. Jay explained the process and how long it is going to take in details and answered my questions. Jay is honest, frank and knows how to listen his clients. I am very happy to choose his company. He recommended permit guys and worked with them. The project went smooth overall. There was some delays due to supply issue but that was a risk I was informed on time. Jays deck crew did a nice work. Listened to my request and adjusted some small things. The fence builders, Jay is working with, are also amazing. They were Punctual, detailed oriented and giving respect to their work. I strongly recommend Green Side Up for your Deck and Fence project.

Green Side Up absolutely exceeded our expectations. We were considering having a gazebo built for a hot tub and contacted Jay/Green Side Up.
