While I have been to Mira years ago and had a pleasant experience - last week I brought my partner for a special celebration and unfortunately it was not an ideal dinner.I'll start by saying our server was amazing, the entire staff, the ambience, unbelievable and we can only say positive things about all of this.The food however - we ordered several items: tuna tostada, costilla, salmon, corazon, coliflor. Tuna tostada and coliflor were excellent. The salmon was quite dry but still we weren't too bothered, it happens sometimes. We were expecting the corazon to be medium rare - it was rare.The costilla we were also surprised to see was completely rare.I was slightly frustrated since I prefer not to have my beef rare, but we were still not too bothered, I just enjoyed the other items and my partner had the costilla and corazon.Where things take a turn for the worse is that for 2 days after, my partner has been having severe abdominal cramping and has been quite unwell which we can only attribute to those 2 beef dishes.Unfortunately not a positive experience.

I’ve been to Mira 4 times now and they never disappoint. The food is fantastic, the staff is lovely and the environment is welcoming. Would highly recommend for an intimate date night or drinks and sharables with friends. You won’t be disappointed

We were a group of 4. We ordered appetizers, a main, dessert and beverages. The dishes were unique but small especially for a group of 4 to share. I enjoyed the scallop ceviche and the branzino the most. Very unique combination of flavours, I did enjoy them but the portion for the ceviche was small. We tried this place as recommended by a friend. The place is quite expensive. I would say 4 $$$$. Having ordered a full course the 4 of us spent between $400 - $500. Not your everyday type of place but I did enjoy the service and the vibe of the place. I don't know if I'll come back seeing that the prices are so expensive and considering the portion size. I would say this is more of a drinking/appetizer type of spot in Downtown Toronto.

Went there to eat Peruvian cuisine and left disappointed. Not a traditional Peruvian restaurant nor Japanese (in my opinion).Pros: no reservations needed - service - bathrooms .Cons: $$$ - small portions - food wasn't great .

We went there for my birthday and I really enjoyed it. The only thing is that service is really slow. The Ribeye is a must. A bit pricey but worth it. The grilled chicken was also Amazing. The 3 leches was just superbe. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience thanks to Otthman. He recommended us a purple cocktail that just started our Friday evening on a great note. We also loved the Hiramasa and Polo a la brassa. Amazing experience.Try the chocolate Peruvian dessert, it was out of the world

First time visiting this restaurant, really enjoyed it. Must have is the beef and chieve! They were fantastic. Overall the food was good, just small portions. I would give this restaurant another try for sure.

This was my second visit to Mira.On both occasions I had the Wagyu tataki and loved it. In this recent visit, we had the tataki, tostadas, castillo, branzino, and maiz. We loved the tostadas and castillo and agreed we would come back for the Castillo alone. It was phenomenal - rich, smoky, with a hint of acid. Your tongue is just coated with flavour the moment you eat it. The tataki and tostadas were also very good but the Castillo blew us away. The maiz was nice.The Branzino was cooked very well and looked beautiful, but we didn't quite enjoy any of the dipping sauces with it (maple, carob, Gari, zucchini) other than maple. And unfortunately, our fish wasn't very fresh and had a fishy taste to it (not smell).Our server was amazing. On both occasions I've found the service to be wonderful.I will definitely return. Thanks for making it a wonderful night for us and our celebration!

Perfecto!!! Food, service, and atmospheres are perfect. There's nothing to complain about!I was always in the pain when the restaurant asked a bunch of tips and actually did nothing.BUT! waitresses here, is next level.They catch your needs right away!!!!!! Especially the waitress who served us today (braided hair) has a beautiful attitude. (The owner of the restaurant, please compensate her.) I was extremely surprised that I didn't have to call them for help.Amigos, please go to this place and enjoy your dinner!!!!!
