I hired Admiralty Chimney to perform a restoration on my 40+ year old brick chimney, which as far as I know has never been maintained. This chimney is attached to the outside of my home, with a fireplace inside. It's been exposed to New England weather all these years, and looked beat. Many bricks were badly weathered and needed to be replaced, and the pointing was nearly gone in many spots. There was internal damage from water infiltration through the deteriorated crown. This chimney needed major work.John inspected the chimney and gave me a quote which clearly described the work to be performed, and the price was fair.The technicians dispatched to perform the work (Zach, and another gentleman whose name escapes me) were expert craftsmen. The quality of their work was far greater than even my high expectations. They were courteous and professional, and kept me informed of what they were doing and when they would have the job finished, and issues they encountered along the way. At the end of each day they cleaned up thoroughly, and throughout the process they were careful and respectful of my home and yard.Julie in the office was great at answering my emails and getting me information throughout the process, from start to finish. She was my primary point of contact and was perfect; quickly and clearly answering my questions.When all was done, my chimney had many bricks and several liner sections replaced, the crown rebuilt, a custom cap installed, and waterproofing applied. I have no doubt this chimney will give trouble-free performance for years to come.My chimney looks better than new, and the updraft in my fireplace is stronger than I have ever seen it. I feel safe about having a fire in my fireplace now.In the years to come I will have Admiralty Chimney perform annual inspections and cleanings, and I will recommend them without hesitation to anyone I meet who may need chimney work.Bottom line (or TL;DR): Admiralty Chimney is skilled, equipped, and ready to perform any chimney project you may have. Great local company. Had them clean my chimney in July 2019. Not only did they clean it, but they also raised my cap a tad to improve prevent a backflow of smoke that I was having difficulty with. I felt the price was very reasonable and they were prompt and accommodating to schedule. I will definitely be hiring them again for years to come.

Fantastic! This is a new home for us and we never hand a wood stove/chimney before. On 10/18, we had our appointment and they arrived on time. Admiralty talked us through the system we have and proper use/maintenance. The did a great job on cleaning and getting us ready to use our wood stove. Very pleased with them and will definitely use them again. Reasonably priced ($150)!

John came out to perform a cleaning and inspection on our new home. He was honest and took the time to show us how to use our fireplace, and also stated we did not need a cleaning this year, which saved us money. We used Admiralty to install a new liner on our furnace side, Tim and his crew were fantastic and are so knowledgably.

They are professional, skilled, flexible and go out of their way to ensure you are satisfied. I had my chimney inspected, sleeved, re-crowned, brick re-pointed and water proof sealed. I had questions following the work and they came back out and went over everthing with me leaving me with the comfort that everything needing attention had been completed and it is ready for safe operations for years to come. The crew was quick, clean, professional, and very nice. They even charged us less than what we were expecting to pay because the previous owners of our house had recently put in a new liner and the chimney did not need to be cleaned all that much. This is a good company that we will be using again for our future services.

We received great service from Admiralty Chimney. During the initial cleaning and inspection an issue was detected with the liner for the wood stove not being installed correctly. We have had different chimney companies clean our chimney in the past and they were the first to notice it. They took the time to show us the issue. On the follow up visit the issue was resolved and the liner was set up properly and fastened the correct way. We have run the stove afterwards, and it is much better. The people (Zach Y/Josh) who came over each time were very professional and knowledgeable I highly recommend Admiralty Chimney.

They were responsive by email. We just had a quote for an inspection and they came out to complete it quickly.

Made 1st appointment in a month, cancelled due to weather. Rescheduled in another month, no call, no show after numerous calls with no responses. (Perfect weather) Unreliable and poor communication. Could not trust to use their services if they can not keep their words.

I want to give a big shout-out to others for Admiralty Chimney Service (594-0400) based in Nashua. No relation, it's just that I've appreciated other recommendations I've needed and this is the 9th year since Admiralty was first recommended to me and they've just kept being notably great every time. This goes from long time and caring Julie (runs office) to their chimney guys who are thorough AND always nice people. It's just a good, solid, long-term and well-run service and they keep their rates reasonable. Very highly recommended if you need a chimney check, cleaning, repair, rebuilding... they do the whole shebang. Very good people!
