Jamie and Les bring decades of experience and insight to new and existing business owners. As a former instructor I am happy they have a location in LIberty Village to share that knowledge. The material is not what you commonly find in textbooks and challenges new and existing business owners to think outside the box and gain a stronger understanding of the entire industry to boost your customer experience and sales!

I took the barista and coffee business courses from Canadian Barista Institute. The coach Jamie not only show us how to do things, but telling us why we have to do things in a certain way. So we are not trained to be a robot, but we are now someone who can understand the principles and teaches our staffs and the general public.Thank you very much.

I am truly amazed by it. The courses not only cover the technical aspects of brewing a delightful cup of coffee but also delve into the underlying principles and, most importantly, the reasoning behind them. The instructors create a pleasant and enjoyable learning environment. As a result, I now feel fully equipped to craft a nice coffee. Of course, need a little more practices to make it perfect!

I am so happy I decided to take the leap and learn about coffee with the Canadian Barista Institute. As a new lover of coffee this course gave me the perfect introduction and start to everything coffee. Jamie was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. His love for coffee and the industry is contagious. The whole experience was great and I left with a new appreciation for coffee. To add to that, the people I met in class were just wonderful. I made new friends and learned so much about coffee and can't wait to continue my journey with coffee.This course is definitely worth taking!

This is certainly a must for anyone who’d like to have a better understanding of the coffee industry and its preparation process. I signed up for the 2-day complete barista training course (for fun) and I must say that I truly enjoyed every single bit of it plus had more appreciation towards the coffee makers.The course was very well organized and I was so lucky to meet our mentor Jamie who went through the process of espresso making step by step ensuring proper handling and ergonomics till we ended up with performing some of the basic latte arts.Even if you’re not planning to work as a barista, I would always recommend this course to anyone who just loves coffee and is looking for an enjoyable and exciting learning experience :)
