Pickering Event Centre

We hosted our wedding on January 21, 2023 at the Pickering Event Centre and could not be more pleased with this venue. The PEC is very modern, and the sound quality is amazing. Many of our guests talked about how clean and modern the place is. Johney, Abe and Cecelia took care of us on the big day, and they were so attentive. Johney was so flexible and answered our countless emails and questions in a timely manner. Cecelia and her staff took care of us to ensure the food was served in a timely manner and make sure that we ate (which very often gets missed) by bringing plates with apps and desserts to our bridal suite. They constantly came to the head table to make sure we were okay and see if we needed anything. Our DJ was also impressed by their lighting, sound system and easy plug and play set up which reduced our DJ fee as there was less equipment needed for them to bring. The food provided by Spring Loaded Craft & Catering was delicious and none of our guests went hungry. I would not hesitate to host another event at PEC.

Pickering Event Centre made our night a night we will cherish for years. We decided the best way to review them is to break down how outstanding their service has been overall:1. Booking the event space: Our primary contact throughout was Johney (one of the owners), and it was a pleasure to work with him. He answered all our emails promptly and with clarity and always had his answers in blue under our questions to make it easier.2. Day of event: The Pickering event centre accommodated our needs and allowed us to access the venue earlier as we were the venue's decorators. Allowing us early access meant a lot to us as it allowed for a stress-free setup. Of course, this depended on whether a different event used the space.3. Night of event: Every staff member worked hard to ensure our night was a success. The staff and owners were not only ensuring things were taken care of; they were so pleasant to deal with. We loved how they had a digital menu over their bar to make it easy for our guests to understand our inventory. We loved how they had a monitor at the front for us to have a digital seating chart.The space is cozy and perfect for 150 attendees. We loved how it was easy to customize a package based on our needs, thanks to the many options they have. We loved how they already had a hedge wall, which made it easy for us to utilize for our photo booth. The place is well designed, and we see ourselves having more intimate events here in the future. Beautiful venue, very clean and the staff is amazing. Everything was done in a timely manner. The food was great tasting- all our guests were singing praises of appetizers and the main course.I would highly recommend Pickering Event Center for any kind of occasion.

I held my Residency Match Celebration here very recently. I loved this place so much. Johney (one of the owners and event managers) was incredibly helpful in making the event as successful as it was. He was readily available, helpful and extremely resourceful when it came to helping my family and I set up the venue. The owners are incredibly nice and generous people, and I would happily run another event here. The venue has a very modern and charming quality to it, and most importantly the audio/visual quality was excellent for what my band and other performers needed. Highly recommend this venue for any function.

Modern event centre that hosts intimate private events only. Events have the entire facility and lots of parking spaces. Close to the 401 and accessible. Great food, easy to customize to your preferences. Decor, lighting, sound system and overall vibe is on point. Not to mention staff there are friendly and accommodating! Check it out!

One amazing new modern event facility in Pickering, the owners Johney and Cecelia are courteous and very helpful. Will definitely recommend this venue to friends and family to consider for any of their events. Also it is located in a convenient spot within the shopping plaza with ample parking.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would!We got married on April 10, 2022, and received the most impeccable service from this venue.To begin with, the owner Abhishek was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only did he accommodate all our needs during a pandemic , and with a 4 month window to work with, he treated my family with the upmost respect. He made himself available whenever we needed and replied to emails very quickly. The morning of my wedding, the decorator needed to be at the venue to begin setting up by 6:00 AM. The night before, there was an event until 2:00AM and he still showed up on time. For that, I am truly grateful to you. We also went from planning a wedding with a 50% capacity to almost full capacity due to the ongoing restriction changes during the pandemic. We changed the number of guests attending around a month before, and again this was accommodated with ease.The venue was spotless and beautiful from beginning to end. The staff was very kind and accommodating to all of our guests.One of the best parts of this venue is the food! We had appetizers, lunch, dessert and bar service. We received a tremendous amount of compliments on the food after our wedding. It was absolutely delicious! Each and every single item!So if you are looking for a venue which you can host any type of event with class, delicious food, incredible service and simply beautiful, please consider this place. My (now) wife and I were searching for the perfect hall to host our wedding event when we stumbled on the Pickering Event Centre. We approached them to enquire about their services and what they had to offer. In doing so we got to know their Operations Manager, Abhishek Pandya and instantly gelled with him. He understood the vision we had for our wedding and was able to articulate all the benefits of their venue and how they could serve us in bringing our vision into reality.When we first approached the Pickering Event Centre, we had some feelings of trepidation as they had just begun construction operations and were in the process of converting their space. This was all happening in midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, Abhishek was able to allay our fears and shared details of his and his business partner, Johney's proven track record in the event and wedding industry. More than this, it was clear from the start that Abhishek and the entire team at the Pickering Event Centre understood the value of customer service. Based on the feelings of sincerity and authenticity we felt in our initial meeting, we felt we'd found our wedding venue and a winning team we could work with.Throughout the process of planning our event and coordinating it with Abhishek, he and his team were very receptive to all of our questions and concerns. They worked hand in hand with us to ensure that when our wedding day finally came, there were no surprises and that everything happened exactly as expected.When our big day finally arrived, it was extraordinary! Every detail was immaculately taken care of and seen to; exactly as planned. The Pickering Event Centre team was incredible and delivered the wedding of our dreams! I attended a celebration of life

We had our wedding reception at Pickering Event Centre and we are so happy we went with this venue! We watched it being built from the ground up and Johney worked along side us every step of the way answering all of our questions and concerns. The staff are so kind, the packages are flexible and more than reasonable and the service is fantastic! Our guests absolutely LOVED the food and the ambiance and aesthetic of the venue is very modern and sleek. We couldn't have had better things to say. We definitely recommend this venue as the best new upcoming event space for you to host your party, you will not regret it!!
