Brampton Library - Mount Pleasant Village Branch

Visited the library today to collect our library cards after completing the registration online, Kelly was super helpful in giving us our cards and guiding us through all the activities and the building layout.The atmosphere was quite good, the kids had a good time going through all the books and spent some time colouring.Registering and Checking out books via the app was super easy, I am impressed! We will definitely be making more visits! Kudos to all the staff members!

Quiet, clean environment to study, read or work.Has an area in front to have a quick walk and relax.

Great staff, they all have a warm and helpful energy as they go out of their way to accommodate all guests. One in particular especially went out of her way with multiple guests who were new to the country and still figuring things out - explaining how self-checkout works, how the holds system works across different branches, and lending a hand to find specific books or topics. The library itself is spacious although it can be hard to find a charging outlet for a laptop on busier days (not unique to this library, just be prepared). Nice big windows looking into the beautiful neighbourhood make the space feel open and airy. Love coming here!

If you're seeking a traditional library experience, filled with books and abundant choices, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This library's limited selection and lack of books make it difficult to recommend to anyone. My visit to this library left me feeling underwhelmed and unsatisfied.

Great library and helpful staff. Just make sure you keep an eye on your computer if you need to step away as some entitled international bums try to jump on it knowing it's still in use. No order back home so they try to bring that chaos here.

1) Very noisy library, librarian wouldn’t bother maintaining the discipline in the Library.2) Especially study rooms are not well maintained, which are supposed to be very quite:. You will see kids running and shouting with their parents being ignorant, not teaching their kids how to behave at a library.Very low temperature/cool, in study rooms.. Terrible place if you are looking for a quiet place to focus and study, do not come here. Thank me later

This library provides quiet and clean environment to study, read or work. Visited once and felt that this place is best to complete/read anything that needs focus and supportive surroundings. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Nice place to focus on study or something constructive.Fountain sidewalk to relax and rejuvenate!Kids noise often heard but it’s not a distraction at all!!! ❤️
