As an enthusiast of yum cha, I always make it a point to explore and try out different yum cha restaurants. Recently, a friend recommended Yue Restaurant, a Cantonese restaurant, which ultimately landed on my must-try list.Upon my visit, I indulged in a sumptuous feast, which included steamed scallop dumplings, steamed shrimp dumplings, steamed pork dumplings, steamed chicken feet, steamed beef stew, pan-fried Kobe beef, fried bean curd, steamed rice rolls (with beef), steamed red rice rolls, steamed egg yolk buns, preserved egg congee, and chow mein noodles.My overall experience with the food at Yue Restaurant was amazing! They delivered a real Cantonese-style dining experience, which reminded me of the comfort of home cooking. If you ever miss or crave for the genuine taste of your hometown, then you definitely have to check this restaurant out.A friendly reminder, it's best to make a reservation before your visit as they have many walk-in customers resulting in an hour-long wait. Nevertheless, the wait is definitely worth it!

Went for dinner. It’s on the pricier side while the taste was mediocre. The desert offered were excellent. A few dishes tasted exactly the same (only with different protein).

Great food and service. Coming from Seattle we don’t have dim sum like Richmond! Very attentive wait staff. Food was all fresh and very flavorful. I usually eat dim sum with soy sauce and hot sauce and nothing needed added sauce!

The dim sum here is first rate. The portions are a bit bigger than usual so order accordingly. Make sure to order the egg tarts; they are amazing.

We came on a Saturday morning without reso and there was already a line outside the door waiting for the restaurant to open. The hostess was efficient and separated the group into two lines, one with reso and one without. Luckily we got seated but was told we have a one hour time limit.All the dimsum dishes were well made except the rice roll. I think we just were a little unlucky and it was made unevenly, resulting in thick gummy parts. The egg tarts and sticky rice stood out.Great service by the entire team!We forgot to bring our own containers for leftovers. They charge $0.75 per large take out container.

Good food and service here. Go here for dim sum and dinner as a regular location and they are always fast and friendly. Ample seating for large groups and never rushed. Parking lot gets very full during peak dining times. The desserts are great!

I enjoyed it here, the dim sum is slightly above in quality from most places. Solid options to choose from the menu (English version is available). Service was a little slow, but it was pretty busy. Parking can be a real pain.

We got there right at open time on Sunday without a reservation and they just barely managed to fit us into a 45 min window (which we were totally ok with). We got incredibly lucky. If you're looking to eat dim sum in Richmond it seems like you should always reserve way in advance as this was our backup dim sum place.The dim sum itself was delicious. Shrimp dumpling (ha gow) and shu mai came in 5 pieces each which is larger than I expected! Very much enjoyed prawn rice rolls - delicious and fresh seafood with soft and probably handmade noodle rolls.Parking in the lot was easy since it was 10:30am which is on the early side.Grateful they take a mixture of cash and card, as we wanted to use up our cash before leaving Canada.

Good place for Cantonese Cuisine. Nice environment and decoration . Dishes are tasty very good. They can separate private room for your personal , family or company gathering . Worthy to try.
