Scholars of London North

Our son has been attending Scholars for the last 3 months and we have noticed a big improvement, and so have his teachers at school. He is more confident and retains what he has learned. He loves going- they make it fun and mix in a bit of social. A great learning environment! We cannot thank them enough for all they have done. We can’t wait to see what another 3 months brings for our son.

My son who is in grade 3 needed some extra help with literacy and reading skills. Throughout the pandemic like many other children he started to fall behind and was showing big gaps in his learning. We started to look for Some extra help and we found scholars. The Richmond location for us is perfect. Close to home and the hours are very flexible and very accommodating. I can’t say enough about the staff. The two ladies that opened this place are the most kind and very considerate people. The first night I called to inquire they were so helpful and took the time to answer all my questions. They are willing to help and listen to your concerns and make suggestions. They have created this amazing learning environment that my son LOVES to go to weekly. There is no fighting him to get there. He loves it and will often ask to go on his days off. After his session he talks a lot about what he learned on the way home. He loves his teachers as well. They are always smiling and friendly. We have now noticed his confidence is going up and he is willing to read more independently and we have caught him picking up a book to read on his own without any prompting. It use to be a struggle to ask him to read and didn’t want much to do with it because he lacked the confidence and literacy skills. We continue to watch and enjoy seeing his learning grow. We thank scholars for such a positive experience we are having. Thank you.

The best learning center in London. All staff are highly trained and focused on teaching one on one per student.

My son was having difficulties in school. He had fallen a couple years behind in reading and writing. I reached out to Sharrie at Scholars and she set him up with a focused learning plan for two, one hour sessions per week. He has been seeing Sharrie’s group for almost 2 months now and has gained a full grade level in his reading and writing. Not to mention the confidence that he has now. I am really happy with his success and cannot thank Sharrie at Scholars London North enough.

Scholars London North is a FANTASTIC place to learn and teach. The owners are flexible, kind, and caring towards students and staff. The curricula are thoughtfully crafted and adaptable to the unique needs of every student. Games and hands-on learning activities make each session fun and engaging for students and teachers alike. It's been such a joy to watch my students gain confidence, knowledge, and adaptability at Scholars under the leadership of Carrie and Sharrie. I cannot recommend Scholars London North enough!

Great place to help kids catch up to their reading level. School teachers are too overworked to provide this level of attention and personalization to a child and their parents. Sharrie & Carrie from Scholars North London have guided us through the program and it has really worked for our daughter (Grade 3 reading). What I like the most is that they emphasize in independence and confidence. Sometimes my child would know how to do something but lacked the confidence to try and work through it. She has improved a lot with the Scholars program.

Scholars Education London North is exceptional!My daughter, a grade 10 student, started math tutoring during the summer. After only a few short months, we have seen a big improvement. Sharrie, Carrie and the rest of the team have been amazing. My daughter finds very helpful the sessions at Scholars and she enjoys learning with her teacher, Hannah. Highly recommend this place and program.

Scholars was wonderful! I was able to reach a person on my first call, who was very helpful and person-centred. Their programs were explained clearly and our options presented. They were able to schedule my child in right away. The tutor was supportive and effective at teaching my child grade 12 calculus and her marks went from failing to 80’s in just one week. Communication throughout the business was superb. Highly recommend Scholars!

Our son, in Grade 7, has always struggled with reading, reading comprehension and writing skills. We enrolled him in classes at London North Scholars looking for help to better his grades and give him more confidence in school prior to entering high school in a couple years. A personal plan was developed, after a thorough assessment, and our son attends two 1-hour classes per week. Our son loves going to London North Scholars and he has shown much improvement in his work and his confidence, both at Scholars and in school, in just 15 hours of classes! This investment in our son is worth it! The Centre Directors, Sharrie and Carrie, are flexible, attentive and caring and know how to teach according to the needs of our son and his personality. Awesome place, awesome people.
