Sentinel Storage - Parksville (Vancouver Island)

I just moved my RV to Sentinel Storage to have it closer to our preferred destinations and save on the cost of the ferry. I selected Sentinel because of their competitive rates, location, and responsiveness to my questions. My experience with Sentinel has been first rate. The site is well situated and seems secure. Martin has been responsive and clear in any communications. I am looking forward to good experience going forward.

Stored some household goods for about 9 months through a cold wet west coast winter and goods were in as good condition coming out as they were going in this heated storage facility. Martin who manages the facility kept the grounds clean and was professional and friendly in all my interactions with him.

Cassandra was simply excellent! Great Customer experience. Would have been a 5* if I didn't have to back trailer out - poor design on property.

Very easy to reserve online. The follow up call to confirm went well and the property manger is helpful and easy to work with. The facility is easy to access and lots of room to maneuver a truck and trailer.

Sentinel Storage might be a big company, but the Parksville location offers that small business friendliness. Martin went out of his way to make our experience a very pleasant one. 10 out of 10 on service! Our unit was clean and convenient and we wouldn't hesitate to use this facility again.

License to steal!! Don't leave anything of value in your car because the people who work here are some straight up thieves. Had about 7000$ worth of stuff taken out of my car and they claim to not be able to find video footage of the incident. My car has an alarm system that sounds the horn and lights. I also have tinted windows so no one would have been able to see anything from the street.Do not trust this place, They were of no use after my stuff was taken and did a completely pathetic job duct-taping the smashed window.UPDATE: after communicating with these crooks they offered to give me the price of the stay which was 300$. this didn't even cover the insurance deductible. Not to mention the 5000$+ worth of stuff which was stolen. They could have easily filed a insurance claim and compensated me but they didn't. I was paying them to keep my stuff safe and secure and they completely failed in every regard. DON'T GO HERE

Martin's cheer and careful attention put this experience over the top of all storage units, in addition to the sea breeze, the cleanliness, the ease of access, the insulated and heated unit with its own light switch. I had planned to stay much longer and will be back.

The most understanding and workable storage facility I ever worked with, Martin is a great great help and definitely knows how to work around you never losing your things,. The facility is well put together very clean and tidy , most definitely would recommend!

The manager was so helpful and kind. He helped me with everything I need to arrive from a long distance move and have my contents stored safely. I would highly recommend this storage company to anyone.
