KAYANARA

The Wolf cabin was absolutely AMAZING! All the small details and touches made it so cozy and perfect for 2 ppl. The Italian Chorizo sausage was the best my husband has ever had, the sirloin streak was so tender and the beef jerky was great. Jenna was soooo helpful and always answered any of the 100 questions I asked haha. It will definitely become a yearly anniversary stay for us!

We just spend a week at Kayanara with a party of 24. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating to our requests. We enjoyed the open space, many walking trails, horseback riding and Canim beach just 5 mins away. The staff was was very informative about information they received about wildfires in the region. We felt very reassured during our stay. If you are looking for a beautiful place to reconnect with nature. Kayana is great for a couple up to a large group. Look forward to a trip back soon

This is a pretty awesome place, We just stayed for a few days in our travel trailer and we can't wait to go back!The hosts and staff were all outstanding and very accommodating to our large group.The Campground offers full hookups plus a firepit; as well as laundry, bathrooms and a shower.Our relatives stayed in the log cabins which offer all the amenities and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.Everyone loved the horseback riding and riding lessons and the kids loved playing at the playground and badminton/volleyball court.There's even a stream that runs through the large property that you can canoe, kayak or tube down; plus an assortment of lakes in the area that are just a short drive away.This is definitely a hidden gem in the middle of the cariboo.

An amazing family, winter experience! We were welcomed with open arms by hosts Daniel and Connie. The log cabin we rented was more like a house and well appointed. It was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed the authentic Swiss experience and food. The horses were friendly and gave our son more kisses than he bargained for. Our boy also enjoyed the playground. To top things off it was clear and sunny with lots of frost in the trees that made it feel magical. I'd consider coming back here in the winter with a group as our cabin had beds to spare. I look forward to visiting in the summer. Check this place out!

My husband Eric and I spent our 2020 Christmas at Kayanara and it was fantastic! From the gorgeous scenic drive leaving Vancouver to arriving at the ranch, we anticipated a fun filled few days of playing in the snow, warming up by the fire, preparing delicious meals and celebrating Christmas...and it all happened exactly as planned! Daniel and Connie our hosts had a Christmas tree set up and waiting in our Wolf Cabin along with fresh home made bread. The fire burning in the wood stove, the horses in the field, the trails ready for snowshoeing, the full kitchen for cooking, the beautiful cozy log cabin...we couldn’t ask for more! Daniel and Connie are delightful and available to make your trip perfect. We highly recommended and will be back again to enjoy another escape.

We had a wonderful snowy stay at the ranch in February. The cabin was so cozy. The views from the living room were fantastic. We spent our days reading in front of the fireplace, greeting the horses in the field, walking in the snow, exploring frozen waterfalls, and snowshoeing on a nearby frozen lake. A perfect place to spend a long weekend in the winter. Can't wait to come back in the summer.

Lovely, peaceful campsite with a great view of the surrounding hills and horses. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Trails were overgrown and mushy-- a major disappointment since they were one of the main reasons I chose to stay there.

Amazing place for a winter getaway. The property is perfect for snowshoeing right out the front door. The Wolf cabin is spacious and warm. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. Definitely plan on going back

You come onto an oasis of a property & share the 230 acres with your night’s rental. The staff are accommodating, friendly, happy to chat or leave you be. It’s pet friendly & you don’t hear anything but the birds outside. We stayed in their trapper’s cabin. I was worried about using an outhouse (who isn’t scared of a bug crawling up onto your butt?) but it was clean, smelled of fresh cut wood, & very inviting. We are just home, but already planning our next trip up.

We went to Kayanara on the February 2021 and we loved our stay!The log cabin is beautiful and spacious, and the fireplace keep it warm even when outside is -20°C. The ranch is big and you and you can see the farm animals around. Daniel and Connie are super friendly and available all the time to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I’ll definitely will return on summer!
