I would recommend any place other than here. The manager, Lee-Ann Doris, is unprofessional regarding issues with roommates or the apartment. You would think a place that offers student housing would consider the importance of sleep with schooling, but they do not care. There is no noise curfew, and the building is extremely loud.When I applied to this place, I put a 3/5 on my application to be placed with people who woke up early in the morning.To my surprise, I had a roommate beside me who kept me up at night, playing video games and talking to friends till 12-1 am on weekdays. Eventually, I discovered that said roommate put the opposite on their application with a 3/5 to be placed with people who stayed late. Eventually, I worked out with this individual via email. We had both agreed on it, and Lee-ann was CC'd in the email.Eventually, things died down for a bit until, right before my exams, I got an email from Lee-ann saying I have created a hostile environment by forcing a curfew upon my roommate, causing him to switch rooms with another suite during the break. In addition, I was told I had no right to enforce a curfew and that I had been warned.I replied to her, explaining how I did not know I had created a hostile environment. I explained to her it was a mutual agreement and my side of the issue. The response from my landlord did not acknowledge anything from my previous email. She said an investigation was conducted on the issue. Furthermore, she informed the person who would have swapped rooms with my current roommate about the curfew and my behaviour." As a result

I lived in this building for 2 years. The first year was okay but during my second year everything began to fall apart. Firstly, the building manager Lea-Anne is extremely unprofessional and downright racist. She was of no help when my apartment was broken into and expensive items of mine were stolen. The garage and compound of the building was also always getting broken into and vandalized, making it very unsafe at night.The cameras that are on the site also don't work effectively and can't be used to ensure your safety. She also ignored several attempts at communicating with her through email or phone calls. Finally, on my move out day Lea-anne also called the police on I and my Black roommates insisting that we were being aggressive with her, just because we asked her questions about our ignored attempts to contact her. Truly such a horror experience save yourself the time and live LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.
