Church On The Rock
This church has always been a safe haven for me, having volunteered in ministry at different places. Years later it is now my home. The people are warm, authentic and joyful. Pastor Dave and his wife Helen are always so incredibly gentle, wise and encouraging; the kind of leaders I want to be more like.

To be completely honest my number one reason I drive 4 and a half hours to Hamilton Ontario from the states would be for a girl.....but a close second is Church on the Rock. Great people. Great worship. Great pastor. What a church should be.

This is my church! I love it here. From the first time I visited on Sunday I felt so welcomed. Such a vibrant and friendly community that loves God so well. Dave is a fantastic teacher and I've been so blessed to get to know him as a friend and brother and see the authenticity of character with which he leads this church.

Always love coming to this place. The quiet prayer path is so lovely with amazing inspirational scripture along the way! Truly blessed when I take time out of the day to be still and listen to His voice. Have learned so much from pastor Dave Overholt, Andrew Brown and many more great people I've come to know here over the years!

Church On The Rock
I went to church on the rock a long time ago when it was still in Mohawk college. I really liked Dave as a pastor. He was fun and inviting. However his wife was incredibly mean and would make comments on my clothing that were really rude (I was a teenager) She made me feel really self conscious and I thought her comments were mean and insensitive. I stopped going not long after this and haven’t been back to church since. Very disappointing for someone that is suppose to be an adult to look up to. If it wasn’t for her I would still be attending that church because it was great otherwise.

This church is great. Well led by wise leaders and a great vision team. Excellent expansion plans on the way. Serves a great community of Youth and young people. Has a real comfortable atmosphere in Sunday service but you're challenged by the message.
