Harris Furniture & Antiques

We had an antique triple mirror in the shed for years. The veneer was off in most places and was in bad shape overall. We asked Dean to fix it for us and gave him the teal colour sample. What a marvelous job!!! It holds pride of place in the main suite of our BnB. Our bedding for that room came from Harris' as did our pull-out couch and mattresses. We have been customers for years and love going there to browse. Dean and staff are so friendly and let you take your time. 5+ stars.

I am very happy with my beautiful bed frame and mattress I purchased from Dean and Colleen from Harris's Furniture & Antiques. They treated me so fairly and are very knowledgeable on their product, and always have an exciting store. It's a real adventure seeing what they have. Lots of great ideas for your home or cottage. It's a must to check out in the Parry Sound area.

Wonderful place! So much to look at.Big setback: most things aren't priced so you have to wait for the owner to come by and give you one. We waited a very long time. Several visits were the same. I don't know if we'll bother again while passing through. It's a shame because the items are very interesting.

An interesting diversion, and quality furnishings for the cottage / home. Staff are helpful, and there is always a buried treasure in the barn, waiting to see the light of the sun.

Great place to buy beds and futons. They had exactly what we needed for our cottage. The barn has lots of neat antiques to sift through as well. Would recommend.

As a repeat customer over the last 10 years, my latest experience will keep me from ever returning. The arrogance with which I was treated by the owner Dean as he sold a rug out from underneath me to a customer who decided she wanted it as it stood waiting for me behind the desk was humiliating and above all wrong! His explanation was that she'd purchased a sofa, as though that bought her this right! He argued that he shouldn't need to put a hold sign on any piece for a customer HE is serving. I suggest that if the store was closed to all but her, perhaps that would be fair, but there were other customers present. I tried to explain that I, in good faith, carried this rug to the cash register and it was up for public purchase. So beware, if someone is spending more than you, he will treat them with deference and dismiss you without respect and fairness. The fact that his employees would not speak up says volumes about his retail empire!

Great place stocked with good finds! Always something to bring home from Harris.

While I have purchased items from Harris Furniture and Antiques (Parry Sound) in the past, this year I have purchased a number of items from them..... [Mattresses (4); Queen Bunk Bed and Sofa Bed(double). Each of the items purchased have been quality ++ and the service excellent. Due to the size/weight of each item, I asked Dean to have them delivered. The Delivery guys are very pleasant and take care in moving each item to its respective location. All in all, I recommend Harris Furniture and Antiques if you are looking for quality products, fair pricing and friendly service.

Chock full of nifty stuff, and some rather nice new furniture.Bought a couple things. One is a one-of-a-kind find, that I'm sure will be treasured for years.I'm definitely planning to go back. Despite it being an hour +, out of the way between home, & Temiskaming Shores.The Trestle Brewhouse has great food too. As was found out, right after visiting here.

Over the years, I have purchased quite a bit here. And I frequently took weekend quests who would often find something. But I will definitely never go back. Dean (owner) is incredibly rude and arrogant. The stuff in the barn has slowly become more junk-like and yet he expects top dollar for it. He treats his customers like idiots. Not with the respect they deserve.
