Massage Addict

Great little spot downtown. From the moment you walk in to when you leave, you feel welcomed and are always greeted with happy people. I’ve been going to Jesse for almost a year now and can’t say enough about him. He always makes sure you are comfortable, focuses on what you want to work on, and I always leave feeling relaxed and less knotty :) He has recently completed his hot stone certification and what a nice treat! The extra heat and different pressure is great.

At the time of writing this review, I have visited this location twice. Daniel (they/any) has made me feel incredibly comfortable during both of my visits, and they are a driving force behind why I registered for a 12-month membership. I look forward to receiving a massage from them every month in 2022. They listen to what sort of pressure I am comfortable with and I really appreciate the reminders to breathe.The clinic doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's very clean and warm inside. If you're thinking about visiting, I highly recommend it! Their first-visit price is super fair, and you can save a lot of money through their monthly memberships.

I typically don’t have many issues with Massage Addict but I must share since I am quite disappointed right now. I had an appointment booked originally for March 11. I received a call an hour prior to my appointment that the masseuse wasn’t able to make it. Fine, things happen and I understand. My car motor actually blew up that same day and the day before my rescheduled appointment. Called first thing in the morning and told them I was unable to make it due to this. Now being charged for the appointment I literally cannot make it to. I understand there is a 24 hour policy, but things happen right, like the masseuse who had an incident happen right before work on the day of my original appointment?

First time here for a massage and it was amazing, the appointment with Daniel was really good and I felt amazing after it was done. I have had massages before and either they go really too deep or too fast but this was one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend this place in the city

Simple and clean location with friendly staff and knowledgeable RMTs. Insurance friendly and can do direct billing. Close to bus routes and right in downtown Halifax. Discount available for first time client for massage therapy.

Therapist are great, but the online booking never works. The staff keep telling me they are aware and that the company won’t fix it.

I hurt my neck and they were nice enough to fit me in on short notice. The massage was really good and he took care to focus on my neck issues. Price was good too, they direct billed my insurance and everything was clean. Will be back!

Clean and friendly but SUPER loud and not relaxing at all. I wouldn't reccomend getting a massage here unless you enjoy hearing the staff gossip loudly in the hallway the entire time, which really takes away from the experience. The walls are paper thin, and the receptionists are very loud.

I had a massage from Destiny on Sept 15th. She gave an excellent treatment, was very courteous, professional and friendly. She was attentive to my needs and did an outstanding job. I'd highly recommend her services at this location. Thanks Destiny!

This rounded out my biz trip to Halifax. What a good decision that was!! My therapist was so knowledgable about my chronic pain, it was nice and informative to chat.
