Compass Mexican Bistro
I stopped here while working in the area and just had to try every taco on the menu! All we’re absolutely amazing! To top it off I ordered some churros, expecting one small churro like you would at taco time but NO I was handed a huge bag of hands down the best churros I’ve ever had! Thanks guys your food is great and we will be back very soon!

Compass Mexican Bistro
Really needs to remove the delivery and order online option. I tried editing the business to remove it but it has not updated. I ordered for delivery yesterday and turns out they don’t deliver anymore but also decided not to disable the ordering service. Their staff don’t know how to login to the service so I can’t get refunded and also do not have the food either. So now I’m just out $36 for no reason. Wouldn’t have left a negative review if my complaint was taken seriously, but apparently the owners are on vacation and don’t want to deal with it or give the staff the password to the system to refund me.

The food is marvelous. I had the pulled pork tacos which I highly recomend as well as a medium bag of churos. The service was great. My daughter and I recomend eating here.

I got a beef burrito and my partner got a vegetarian- we really enjoyed both. Fresh produce, absolutely packed with different ingredients, and their housemade tortillas are the best we’ve ever had. I actually wish we lived closer so I could eat one of these bad boys every day. Super friendly staff as well. Thank you so much!

I feel bad writing this review because it seems like my experience is a rare, if any, occurrence at this restaurant. However, my partner and I did not enjoy the food. We had a couple of bites and decided to leave to get lunch elsewhere. We had a pork burrito and vegetarian taco. They were both tasteless and soggy.. generally underwhelming.It could have been a one off and if so, we were the unlucky ones.In any event, I wish the restaurant and owners much success!

Wow. I live an hour from the Mexican border in a Hispanic area of Southern California and would have never thought I’d have some of the best Mexican food of my life this far north. The flavor of the pork was out of this world, best pork tacos I’ve ever had. Fish and shrimp tacos were good as well. This could be the best Mexican restaurant in Canada and it’s just sitting out here in the middle of nowhere. Friendly staff too, appears to be family run. If you live in Victoria it’s worth the drive to check this spot out
