The Rocky Mountain House
Service is good. Ordered chicken parm. (Lg) which is 2 peices of chicken. Chicken was cooked in scorched oil and had a burnt taste to it. Absolutely dreadful. Spaghetti sauce bland and there was a giant pool of liquidy sauce/water mixture on the plate (likely didn't drain pasta very well) which also caused the chicken to be soggy. Garlic bread burnt and blackened on the bottom but the cook flipped it over so the burnt side wasn't visible. Obviously I'm going to taste that it was served burnt which tells me he has no standards to try and get away with that. Forced down a peice of chicken because I was absolutely starving but I simply couldn't eat anymore as it was just terrible. You cannot cover up scorched oil and it leaches into everything. Worst part was that they're (owner) so petty that they made me pay for the burnt food and only offered to not charge me for one of my beers as if that's a good resolution. So basically they'd rather ensure they charge me the meal than take it off the bill which would have been the right thing to do in hopes that perhaps I'd give them another shot. Being this petty has solidified my decision to vote with my wallet and never go back. Ended up going a few doors down to the cupboard to get a pizza. What a joke! We'll miss jackie. Shes a fantastic server (although she wasn't our server tonight)

Our experience was mediocre, slow service, our main waitress was lovely but the others were rather unprofessional. we made a reservation and specifically asked if a lunch menu would be served; but arrived the day of and found lunch wasn't being served, and ontop of that the food was SLOW, we waited almost 45 minutes for breakfast dishes that we honestly could have made quicker and better at home. definitely not coming back, would not reccomend this compared to the renfew location, which is also slow.

Being a long time Rocky Mountain House customer, from when they started out in Eganville & many times in Renfrew I was pessimistic that it maintained its high level of quality. But the food was still great, the service was just fine and the portions were nearly the same size as decades ago. I don't remember the prices. Glad I went.

Service was a little slow but it was busy when we went. Maybe another server or support staff would help as I saw our server with carrying some things that could have been done by a back of house employee.Good food and reasonable prices. There was also a great vibe. Loved the location and plan to return during business hours to browse along the street. Will definitely return

Food was good. Priced fair. I'm not a picky or demanding person in regards to service, but they seem completely lost on how to manage waitresses and front of house. We had around 4 different waitresses come over to seat us, take our order, serve our order and clear our table. Not once did anyone come and ask if everything was good or if we needed anything, after we were served our food. We got our appetizers and within 2 mins of enjoying those, another new server came over with our mains and plopped them down on our tiny 2 person table, leaving us no room on the table, and making us rush our apps more so our mains didn't get cold. I figured this was all to get people in and out faster on a busy Saturday, but following our table being cleared, the plethora of waitresses who'd been helping us on and off the whole time suddenly became blind and deaf to our existence and it took nearly 45mins to get the bill.I'll give it another go, but hoping someone is reading level headed feedback to improve service of the restaurant.

What can I say, amazing food, amazing service with very friendly staff, the place was packed yet wait times were incredibly quick. Literally waited 15 minutes for our food and wow! Fries were top notch, fish was crispy yet light and thier gravy is on point. Keep it up Rocky Mountain House!!! You have a amazing team going there! Can't wait to come back.

Party of four. The eating utensils and plates for three of our group had to be returned because of food residue. The utensils had to be returned a second time! We were told that the dishwasher was broken. All the more reason to ensure that the utensils were clean. Also a lot of flies. Not likely to return any time soon!

This is at the Rocky Mountain House in Arnprior.We both ordered the same item on the menu the Schnitzel Continental Divide for $27.We've read wonderful reviews and looking forward to enjoying our dinner. OMG, how disgusting was our plate?Two schnitzels thrown on, one was with what was supposed to be mushroom sauce but was nothing but gravy with exactly two thinly sliced mushrooms. This schnitzel was overcooked.The other schnitzel was golden colored but again the sauce on top was supposed to be tomato sauce filled with green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. It was nothing but a blob of tomato sauce from a can, no flavor, no veggies. It was horrible!Mashed potatoes were barely warm which was also a taste of day old.I wish we had taken a photo. Definitely will not be back or recommend it.

Made a reservation for Father's day and asked them if I could keep a card on file for the payment as I live out of province, they said ya no problem just call back on the day of and supply us with the card info. Father's day comes, I call an hour before the reservation and speak with the same person I made the reservation with just to get told they could never do that and no one knows why I was told that. Cool now I get to call dad back and tell him dinner's off and hopefully can find somewhere else. Thank god for Jim's, should have just thought of that in the first place rather than this joke.

I ordered the 34$ steak medium rare. The steak came out medium, the onions over cooked and the mash potatoes were literally 3/4 whole potatoes. Not worth paying the money for. The mushroom caps as an app were ok, breading is good but the shrooms themselves were huge!!!!Their breakfast is 100 times better
