Terrible ferry crossing, long waits. There are two ferries but only one seems to run constantly. It is usually a 20 minute wait to cross. I would not recommend this ferry crossing to anyone. It would help if they would list on the website when both ferry’s are running so you know not to wait your time in the long long wait to cross.

This is a tough one to rate. If you are a tourist, you might love seeing and using the ferry once to experience it. For you, the experience might rate 5 stars. Similarly, if you or someone you know works on the ferry, then you'd likely give it 5 stars. However, if you live in the area and have to use/depend on the ferry, you'd likely rate it much lower.

(2) Cable Ferries that sail between Gondola Point and the Kingston Peninsula. Operational in some capacity 24-7. At times, especially in the summer months, it can get very busy with long line ups. There is no cost to cross on any of the New Brunswick provincially operated ferries

Ferry is fast and the ramp is good for loading motorcycles, be careful if crossing the cable.
