Jennifer Barkin was a parenting coordinator for my ex and me. As another professional in this field and working alongside several other PC's professionally, I was very disappointed in her services despite trying to give the benefit of the doubt. In fact, the conflict between my ex and I increased substantially during the year we received services from her. There was no documentation or minutes from our meetings/ agreements and no accountability for abusive behaviour or lack of follow through. I do not believe she understands the dynamics of a high conflict divorce. As a result, it felt very disorganized, things were repeated, she recalled things incorrectly (despite there being facts in emails she had access to) and there was rarely resolution to our problems. The disorganization only lead to more misunderstandings between my ex and I- especially when there was no documentation to refer back to. It also decreased the trust factor that is imperative between a client and the professional and prevented the PC process to move forward.When addressing these concerns in a professional manner, the response were defensive, not forthcoming nor direct. I believe she demonstrated biases and did not fact check or do her homework" so to speak when giving feedback on matters.I feel she did not appreciate being challenged or questioned about her process/protocols

When i met Jennifer Barkin for the intake meeting i thought she would be great. Unfortunately she lied. Everything she said she would do for mediation she did not. When i questioned her on it she did not respond to my email.
