I'm pretty picky with sushi so I was happy to find that this place had great quality and variety in their platters. Finally not all salmon. It's a bit more pricey but is worth the quality tuna and Hamachi pieces. Better than most places in mississauga in terms of quality. Only thing is that a few of the pieces were extremely thin in regards to fish slices. Hoping they keep quality and value in mind for future. You can also see this was mentioned in previous reviews

I have only great things to say. Little hidden gem, where have you been all along? I loved the quick and attentive service, the menu is elaborate, plenty of options, portion sizes are great, lunch deals are awesome, the service is the highlight for me, even their soy sauce tastes different. I am heart deep in love and this is definitely my fave sushi spot in GTA now. Highly recommending their sushi

Ordered four tofu teriyaki dinners. So-so food quality. Mushy tofu. Asked for extra teriyaki sauce. Received 1.5oz of extra teriyaki sauce for $2.00. It is literally a sample. The Mikado restaurant downtown is far superior in quality and taste and I don't get charged $2.00 for a tablespoon of teriyaki sauce. Rip off.

Fantastic restaurant. I always make a trip here if I’m in the area. I recommend the Kalbi. They have a limited Korean menu but it is all awesome. Their sushi offering is also top-notch! The sushi chef/owner takes real pride in offering the finest quality available. Highly recommend, will not be disappointed!

Very happy with dinner at Sakai! Great food and great service tonight. The portions were good and the sushi was delicious. The rice always makes a big difference and their rice tastes good! Two thumbs up for sure. We will be back.

Went to Sakai for Valentine’s Day. Wowza amazing! We got the Soon Du Bu (tofu seafood stew) and Chicken Katsu box. The meal was so flavourful and delicious. The wait staff were very nice and very attentive. We highly recommend this hidden gem! Don’t forget to try their green tea with roasted rice ❤️
