Road test for my son was a joke. His road test instructor was hard to understand and marked him harshly on things I know he does well. He drives better at 17 than most do with years of experience. Very disappointing!

Visited this SGI to get my ID card processed. Although I wasn't aware that IDs weren't processed there. but the lady that attended to me was nice as she handed me a flyer containing lists of other SGIs where I can get my ID card processed. What is mostly done here are claims and driving tests. There's a parking lot and the environment is clean.

Went in for an inspection on October 11th 2019 at 2pm, and we sat waiting, only car in there, for a good ten minutes before someone came out to help us. He was rude too. I brought my uncle with me to the appointment (he was not there when the accident happened), and the adjuster kept looking at my uncle and asking him the questions about my car and the accident and not even acknowledging me after my uncle said several times I wasn’t there I don’t know ask her. I also blatantly watched the adjuster snap a piece of plastic by the clip to hold my hood shut, and shove his flash light down there. It was not previously broken at all until he snapped it to shove his flashlight in there.

Great experience here & the staff are just great!My son had a drivers test here yesterday. I would definitely recommend more people go here, for a few reasons!1. First off it’s not overstimulating like the other locations are. People who are doing drivers tests are already nervous, why add to their stress? This location has a super good vibe for sure!2. It’s comfortable! For example, for those who may be waiting there’s an open space waiting room, with big windows so you can clearly see the parking lot. There are enough chairs for all people even if it’s a busy time, it’s very tidy and a huge bonus is that you also have quick and easy access to clean washrooms too!3. Friendly staff! I met Brandy in particular and not only was she incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and on the ball…..but she was also friendly, down to earth and approachable. I’ve noticed that sometimes the staff in places like this can be stone cold (to put it bluntly anyways!) but Brandy wasn’t, in fact she was just the opposite.My son left feeling really confident - which he had lost previous to this - so it was so nice that she reinstalled that self confidence in him which has increased his motivation and determination! Her advice was also right on the money! She pointed out the *exact* same few things that I had been telling him as well, so this is how I knew she was being very attentive and knew what he needed to work on. Just an overall personable and easy-going lady, she’s a good pick for a job like this, by far!Thank you East side SGI & Brandy for an excellent experience. Definitely the best SGI location by far! A++P.S ….my son did pass! I knew he could! However, sometimes it’s easy for him to get nervous in a situation like this where he’s being tested, which can then cause him to make dumb mistakes which he realizes immediately and later says “…omg I can’t believe I did/didn’t do that!!”. BUT, because Brandy has a positive vibe about her, she made things a lot more comfortable and a lot easier for him to focus and do his thing! She really did help him get his confidence back. Thank you Brandy!!! :)

Very helpful and friendly staff. Inspection was fast and inspector was personable.

Very poor customer relation. Unfriendly and highly dismissive! They refer you online immediately! You look like a fool for even going and not calling online.

They just want your money and try to bully you into buying things. My son has had 4 drivers exams here and all instructors seem to contradict each other.

They are quick to respond. Very accomadating. Friendly, Understanding, knowledgable.
