RAPS Cat Sanctuary

Best way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the summer! One of Vancouver's best kept secrets that absoultley shouldn't be a secret! The cats seem very happy here and well taken care of. Sometimes if you're lucky one will even choose to sit on your lap. Super good vibes!

I'm so glad that the sanctuary has reopened for public visitors, it is such a cool place! I have such admiration for everyone who makes the place so special; it is clearly a labour of love and it warms my heart to see all of these cats well taken care of. Really magical place for anyone who has any affinity for cats or the animal welfare in general

This place, though expensive, is SO WORTH IT. I’ve been wanting to visit RAPS Cat Sanctuary for so long and I’m so glad that I finally did. I understand that the price (around 17$) might be a lot for people but the hour/hour and a half I spent here was the best thing I’ve done all week. There at MANY friendly cats some even wanting to sit on you. The volunteers were so sweet and knew all the names of the cats and they made me feel so welcomed. The place is such a haven for these beautiful kitties. I would want to live here if I was a cat. It was so fun wandering around the pretty big space and just meeting and looking at all the cats. THERES SO MANY!! If you don’t have a cat (like myself) but love cats and want to spend time with them I recommend RAPS so much. It’s so much better than a “CAT Cafe” and honestly the price goes towards a good cause (to feed and continue nurturing these kitties) so it’s so worth it honestly. Will definitely be back with my friends.

I like cats. I like cats a lot. This place has a lot of cats, which is pretty cool. Cats are not the most friendly animals so don't expect to be cuddling with all of them, but there is still a decent amount of friendly personalities you can pet and hang out with. There is kind of a lack of direction within the sanctuary, so we spent most of our time wandering around trying to figure out where to go, but it was still pretty fun regardless. Overall, probably wouldn't come here again for a while (especially for $12), but I am glad to have had the experience (because I like cats)

A great cat sanctuary that's off the beaten track in Richmond. A wonderful place for displaced felines to live who don't have a permanent home or whose owners cannot take care of them. Lots of little doll house type shelters and trailers for the cats to live. Admission is by donation of $5. Well worth the visit. My family are cat people so this perfect for us. A gear place to come if you can't have a cat in your home for whatever reason. A very worthy charity. Your admission cost supports the cost to feed and treat these felines to medical attention. Don't miss it. Open weekends 1-4 pm

An amazing place for cats who might otherwise not find homes. There are endless places to lounge, nap, scratch and explore. The cats are well taken care of by volunteers.

Many well loved and taken care of kitties. The volunteers are friendly and were kind enough to give a tour of the sanctuary.They have treats that you can feed the cats and it's nice that you can stay the full 4 hours of you wanted to!
