The Card Palace

I used to go there when I was kid when it was on Décarie. A lot of memories collecting hockey cards, meeting now Hall of Fame Montréal Expos baseball player, Magic and Spellfire trading cards. I thought this place closed, but was surprised to find it just a few streets away! Staff is not always friendly, but price are very good. You need to know this place is you are a card collector!

An excellent spot with the lowest prices available for Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh and more! In addition, the owner is very friendly and quite insightful. I highly recommend this store to any TCG enthusiast.

I have never felt so unwelcomed in a store before coming to this shop for my first tournament. I asked the store owner if I could get a second sneak peek kit and he yelled at me and made me feel STUPID and he told me to think about it". I have a mental disability and instead of explaining nicely like a normal person would

I called the store for an ETB manual book he was really behind the bush and he was acting strange on the phone I had to ask him like a few times and then he started to say that he would charge me $10 or booklet can you imagine $10 of booklet so if it was gonna be for a little kid you would have to pay 10 bucks for a little booklet this place I do not recommend this place at all it is the worst car store I think in the whole Montreal in Laval I never seen some guy with very little clientele speaking Do not buy from the store

The most ridiculous service I have ever gotten in my life I wouldn’t even buy anything here if there was 80% off go learn how to speak to customers all I asked was for a price and he was upset go do something else buddy

Fantastic place for MTG,yugioh and other card games, been going here on and off since 2008. There's a special camaraderie you can't find anywhere else in Montreal IMO. Prices are fair too. Oh and I pulled a stomping ground from 1 pack so I'm super stoked about that. Get hyped for Eldraine!

I've been coming to this store ever since 2009. I remember my first interaction with one of the owners since I was wearing a Bruins shirt. It was unforgettable since he ripped into me but I realized he was just teasing and joking around. After that, he cut me a huge deal on a card that I wanted and I knew this place was going to be my go-to place for card games.Prices are nearly unbeatable for both singles and product if they have it. Owners love to joke and tease but are always willing to help someone who needs it. They host tournaments for both Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! that are free (for Yu-Gi-Oh!) or offer amazing prize support. They love their jobs and are passionate about what they do. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for collectables or are trying to start playing competitively in any card game.

Best card shop in Montreal. Box and case prices very reasonable. Friendly and very well informed staff and ready to go out of there way to help there valued customers. Highly recommended for all. One visit and this will become your main supplier for cards and supplies. Fantastic selection of non-sports. Well worth the visit.

Johnny, the owner, is great. Always helpful, gives great deals, and is great to talk to. They have the best prices for magic singles, sealed product, and comics too! They also have a friendly FNM where you can earn points for an invite only end of year tournament.
