I had a wonderful dining and music experience at Judique’s unique Celtic Music Centre (CMIC) on Friday, August 27, 2021. Everything on the menu looked tempting, so I opted for the “Piper’s Burger” with a side of fries (photo). The meal was generous ... and delicious (I especially appreciated the option to select a gluten-free hamburger bun).During my dining time at the centre, I enjoyed their “Lunch Time Ceilidh” featuring well-known local musicians Shelly Campbell and Cathy Hawley (photo). After lunch I visited the gift store (photos) and took a little tour of the interactive exhibit room that highlights the history of Cape Breton music (photos). The Ceilidh Pub staff were friendly, warm and fun! (photo).Overall, the Celtic Music Centre is a grand place to visit for great food, wonderful music, a lovely gift shop, interesting exhibition, and friendly, engaging staff. If you are travelling up or down Hwy 19, I’d highly recommend it!

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, loved the live music at lunch. Ran out of the soup we wanted after we ordered, but apologized and were very prompt at getting us something else. If you're in the area my family recommends this place!

We went there for a ceilidh. The music and the dancing were stupendous! I only wish I could dance like that. We were there before the tourist season began, so there wasn't any food offered. Still, we managed to enjoy some fine brews. Highly recommended, if you love Celtic music and dance.

Stopped here for lunch and ceildih entertainment. Was not disappointed in either. Meal was light and delicious, salad with goat cheese, cranberries, walnuts and delicious dressing and also fish cakes and beans (only negative was they tasted like canned maple beans vs home made). Fiddle, piano and step dancing entertainment was wonderful. Lovely gift shop on site, clean washrooms. Great cultural spot. We'd stop again.

Great music and especially great service Allison you rock and your step dancing was awesome. We were also there about two weeks ago and another waitress don’t remember her name but she had tattoos on her arms, she also was super nice. Good Cape Breton hospitality.

Gaelic Culture in true living and breathing form. We had a wonderful afternoon in June of 2023 being part of this inclusive community. Great music, strong drink and warm people. Fantastic combination.

The staff were fun and kind, the food was amazing! And the musicians were incredibly talanted. Though the number of tables and poeple allowed to sit and eat was limited do to Covid-19, it was lively and and i had a grand time. From music to stories to food, the cultural exsperience will last a lifetime!
