Ok, so this is a high review for a garage that in the end could not fix my RV becaue they were booked solid for 3 weeks. But they were super nice and helped me find shops that might have availability. And when you are in a fix someone going out of their way to help you find an alternative is so welcome

I am a new business start up and one of my rental vehicles sprung a coolant leak over the weekend in Banff. I called every mechanical shop in Banff and Canmore, Exshaw truck and bus (who were just as busy and booked out as everyone else) were the only shop that would entertain my problem and give me the time of day. They helped my customers out straight away on a busy Monday morning.There are not many companies or people out there that will go the extra mile like Ian did. Thanks to this professional top class service, my customers were able to get back on the road all within a few hours. No price gouging or taking advantage. Ian even gave my customers a courtesy car so they could continue exploring the area while a new radiator was fitted!I will know who to call if I ever need help again, if you are a traveller in the Banff region who has mechanical problems, you now know where to go!Once again thanks a million Ian!

Fantastic place! My RV had a tire leak in Banff and they got me right in fixing the tire at a fair price.

I was passing through Canmore when I had a significant problem with my travel trailer. I needed to have the trailer looked at before I could carry on home. After calling all possible options in Canmore and finding no one willing to help me, I called an rv dealership in Calgary who lead me to a mobile repair place. When they were unable to help, they suggested Exshall Truck and Bus. They agreed to look at the trailer, made sure it was safe to carry on and wished me a safe drive home. No charge. Kindest, most professional service I've received EVER. Thank you all for making an incredibly difficult day so much better!

Incredible service from Zach with Exshaw Auto! Very professional, friendly, and fast. I was camping just this past week out in Radium when I ran into some issues with my travel trailer tongue jack. Was not able to lift or lower the trailer as the gear was completely stripped. Called my RV roadside assistance company and they set me up with Exshaw Auto. Zach came out promptly, and had my trailer fixed in 45 mins. Rates are reasonable for emergency calls as well. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thanks for the great service!

Service that goes above and beyond was our experience with Exshaw ATB. On the Friday of a long weekend they did everything possible to get our older motorhome back on the road. Particular thanks to Zach, Mike and Ian, who went out of their way to serve us. Price was reasonable and work was thorough. I only wish they were closer to Edmonton as they would be our shop of choice.

On our way to Radium when RV shut down on the hiway by Canmore. I lucked out. Ben from Standish suggested Exshaw Auto Truck and Bus.This company and their staff went above and beyond to get me on the road by Monday. Older bus type RV had the fuel pump (in the gas tank) fail. They emptied and dropped the tank found the part and replaced it over the holiday weekend! Never experienced that type of customer care as they kept me up to date all the way. They could have easily taken advantage of me but the invoice was what they said it would be. Most honest mechanic and skilled shop ever! Ian, Mike the mechanic and the apprentice that did the job a huge thank you for saving our family vacation!

For Ian Craven and the staff at Exshaw Auto, Truck and Bus near Canmore, Alberta: I can’t praise you folks highly enough. When my Mercedes RV seriously broke down, though you were extremely busy you willingly took on the job when no one else would. These rigs can be very challenging to work on. Ian diagnosed the problem immediately, ordered the necessary part(which had to be shipped from Ontario) and oversaw the repair which required 10 hours of labour over the course of two days and just before the weekend. You did your utmost to ensure that we didn’t have to stay another day in an expensive hotel in Canmore, you even provided us with a courtesy car to enjoy some mobility. I’ve known some good mechanics and repair shops in my 75 years but you deserve to be near the top for your expertise, integrity and compassion. Thank you so - so much again. PS: special thank you’s to Shannon for her untiring humour and professionalism and to Zack for his skill and hard work. You are the best!!!!

After running into vehicle problems on a short trip to the Canmore area, I called Exshaw to see if they would be able to look at and fix my vehicle (was referred there by the tow company after everywhere else I called said it would be at least a week before they could look at the vehicle) Exshaw told me that if I got it to them they would try to look at it the next day (which they did) but were also VERY busy. I had basically 3 business days to get my vehicle roadworthy before needing to return to Saskatchewan for work. The staff at Exshaw were courteous, helpful, professional and transparent and kept me informed as to what the problems were and what it would take to fix my vehicle. They did manage to get me back on the road within my 3 day window. I was super happy with the service provided and would recommend this shop to anyone in the area who is in need…. Thanks Exshaw team for making a stressful situation manageable and getting me and my family back on the road quickly
