Roberts Creek General Store

Friendly staff we met on our first day; every morning went there for coffee before catching the transit bus to Gibsons for breakfast.

Friends and I stopped for ice cream, which is right across from the general store and had intentions of going in to the general store after to pick up some snacks. We came back to our car, 8 minutes later, so one girl could grab her wallet and we sat for a second in the AC. The owner of the establishment comes out and says she will call a tow truck if we don't leave because we are not her customers. Automatically realize we aren't gonna give this lady a dime of our money, so we start talking about other places we could go for snacks, she comes back outside and gives us the middle finger. She's such a terrible representation of the town and should not be working anywhere near the public eye. Totally destroyed to atmosphere the store had before she bought it.

A bit expensive, but I like buying ice cream here.

Used to be a great local community hub. Now it can be equated to going into a 7-Eleven in the city. The owners should have done a little research before buying... you can't treat your potential customers as thieves the minute they walk in the door, in a small community that just doesn't fly. Yes they have a wider selection of products but not worth going in if you get yelled at or are made to feel uncomfortable.

Going to this store for icecream is a tradition for our family. For years now we have gone and enjoyed the friendly service. But sadly since the new owners arrival the service is terrible. How anyone can be rude to excited children waiting for icecream is sad. We were made to feel like an annoyance.I think they need to remember that it is people like us that bring business to the the Sunshine Coast.Going forward we we find a new to place to carry on the love for icecream in the summer.There is no room for being rude in a small community. Word gets around!!

Beautiful area! Lots of nice scenery. Good place to have a campfire on the beach with friends. Lots of friendly locals in the area too! Sat here and watched the sunset with some people, I definitely hooked.

Generally speaking this general store had generally generic items. Good selection, but had a general feeling that I was unwanted by the shopkeep, and in fact all customers are un welcomed. 2 stars for variety

The Roberts Creek store is under new management and it's getting better and better every day! Fresh fruit and veggies, fresh hummus and potato salad, delicious samosas and pakoras in the freezer (ask for chutney at the counter) a better selection of pet food (in case you're caught short) and lots of new household items. There are also frozen meats and an increased line of dairy. I should also mention that the prices are good, and not inflated as they have been in years gone by. AND the new owners are very nice people, happy to be part of the community and wanting you to enjoy their store. If you haven't been there in a while you should stop in and welcome them to the neighborhood! :)

Me and my friends stopped to get an ice cream as recommended by a local and apparently parked in the wrong spot. The owner of the general store came out yelling and was incredibly rude. When asked where the ice cream shop is, she answered that she didn't know and it was right across the road from her...she went on to say we would get towed if we didn't move. There are so many ways to ask someone to not park there, she was beyond rude I will never go there as long as she owns it. She shouldn't be working with the public.
