I have been here twice and love it! I came upon it by accident on the first visit, and was so pleasantly surprised! The food is excellent and very tasty with very fresh ingredients, likely purchased from our local Nova Scotian farmers (it tastes *that* fresh!). The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. The owner is very nice and welcoming which I appreciate very much.My only minor complaint would be that the front staff may not keep a close eye on tables when customers vacate them because both times we sat down, the tables were sticky and not wiped. Other than that, I would recommend this sweet north end cafe 100%!!

Miel et Beurre Breakfast Cafe
Unfortunately it was not a great breakfast experience but their customer service is great. I asked for my poached egg to be hard and it came out soft. I asked the waitress if it was poached hard and she said yes, only to find out that it was soft. I asked for it to be taken back cause runny eggs do make me feel nauseous. When it came back it was hard but there were eggshells in there.They offered to give me 50% off my meal without me asking or making a fuss which I appreciated.

What can I say? It was perfect! From the cappuccino thru to the breakfast absolutely perfect. I had the sweet and savoury croissant with poached eggs Hollandaise avocado and bacon jam and the hubby had the eggs Benny on homemade tea biscuit and it was all just yummy.

Sweet place for brunch! Loved the stacked bene and breakfast croissant.Only downside was my smoothie came 20 minutes after his coffee. You can see how popular they are by the wait time, but it's worth it!Also took some macaroons to go, very tasty.

One of my favourite breakfast/brunch spots in the city. The service is always great and the food and coffee is amazing. Their eggs benny is made perfectly every time.
