Love my fiances new cut, we weren't sure what to ask for since he doesn't usually get it styled but they chose a very flattering cut and they took care of my toddler were sensitive to his special needs and very patient. Had lots of help to try to keep the little guy calm over all great service and very friendly. Thanks guys will be coming back for sure!

Wow!!! Just had my first hair cut in 2 years and Joel crushed it! Amazing atmosphere, great and welcoming staff, passionate about their craft…what more could you ask for?? Like I mentioned Joel was amazing, professional and personable, took his time and very detailed. Definitely more towards the pricey side for a male cut but you definitely get what you pay for and it was well worth it!!!

Great barbers, great place and even betterenvironment. If you need it they can do it. Fine fades to prestigious hair tattoos. I highly recommend this barbershop. The owner, Yunis aka the fade king started from the bottom and now he's here to make your hair look fresh. They are professional and amazing at what they do. I trust two people my doctor and barber, so go see them.

Joel cuts both of sons' hair and they always look good afterward. My youngest has a huge cowlick, and when i explained it to Joel, he was able to cut my son's hair so the cowlick wasn't noticeable. I highly recommend this location for haircuts.

I brought my son in right before close to get someone to fix another barber shops mistake. Joel was so patient with my 4 year old. He made conversation with him the same way he would an adult, and make him feel comfortable and respected. Because he made the effort, my son sat perfectly still for him to fix his hair. Last week wad the first time I came to Captain Cutz and the experience for me for was excellent. I booked an appointment with Kevin and he did a great job for cutting my hair. I haven't been to a English speaking barber shop before lol so it was a bit nervous for me. But Kevin took the time to look at the picture I show him on how I would like my hair to look and explain to me what fade was in the picture. He did a medium fade for both side of my head and the back as well. He spent the time and patience to make sure the fade was done right. I was really happy with the final result. Also, he would give you advise for how to cut your hair if you are unsure.I would say this is one of the best hair cut I had since I came to Canada. I would for sure come back again which I think it will be next month since my hair grow so quick on the side. This place gives you a good vibe like a neighborhood friendly barbershop. Don't miss out this place if you live in Guelph or even just live close to Guelph. Looking at how other barbers work at the shop, I would say they know how to take care of their customers. I am not sure how the wait time would be if it is in peak hours, but I would say it is worth your wait. I mean you also don't want your barber to rush cutting your hair. Price wise, I think it is reasonable. The only thing, strictly personal opinion, that I think it can be improved is the description for different service they provide on their website. I think a bit more details can be added to show what each different service is about so that new customers will have more idea what they are expecting when they come. But it is not deal breaker and just something myself can be done better.Anyway, don't miss this place out and it is great place to get your hair cut! Highly recommend
