Saskatoon Co-op Food Store (Stonebridge)

Great layout, friendly staff, lots of stock and parking is so simple.

Fall 2021, I stopped here to pick up a prescription for my fiancee who had surgery the day prior and was just brought home. I didn't have any issues with the pharmacist, but one of the store employees (an older guy) followed me out of the store. I assume he figured I was stealing something because I just had the medication and no groceries per se. He clearly stood in the parking lot, looked at my licence plate, and didn't go back into the store until I drove away. That sort of thing seems INCREDIBLY inappropriate as he was basically accusing me of being a thief without actually confronting me. However, that's not what really irritates me. The worst part is that when I called the store when I got home, I'm pretty sure the employee that followed me out is the same one that picked up. I still told him I was furious about that event, especially after being stressed out about my loved one's recent surgery. Since I was suspicious about who I actually spoke with, I called in the next morning and spoke with someone else (the store manager). Surprise surprise, the store manager had not been informed about the event. No note had been left. No message passed on. We go to this store quite often and I see that this employee is still working there. I will not shop somewhere that treats their customers like this.

Clean, well lit, wide aisles make for good accessibility. Above average produce aisle is fresh and well stocked. Pharmacy is quick to respond and friendly. Front staff are friendly and efficient. Good selection of international options for an extra treat. Featured case of local meat products at the entrance is a nice touch. All gluten-free options are consistently well labelled. In-store bakery and deli are well stocked and well displayed. Clean, accessible washrooms.

Employees are awesome and helpful. My granddaughter loves to toy car carts they recently brought back.

I always like the Coop. Today I was disappointed. I was standing in line at a cashier. I was second in line. She comes around her checkstand and tells the guy in front of me that he is her last customer and puts a sign up. He was trying to tell her that I was in line also. She just ignored him. He shrugged at me feeling embarrassed. Ridiculous! She should be saying something. She should of told me when I walked up to the line that she is closed. Not having me stand there and then plopping a sign in my face without an acknowledgement to me. So I went to the self check out and will continue to do so if cashiers act like that.

Great selection of fresh fruit and veggies. Veryclean well managed store

I usually receive good service and their selection can be quite nice. Not very price competitive and I'm not sure that the membership check fixes that very well.

Hood coop friendly staff, good meat selection as always

Nice selection of products. Their in store baked whole grain bagels are fantastic. With most things though co-op is relatively expensive

Their groceries are very expensive and the outside of the building looks like an office building. Whoever designed the architecture should get a new career.
