I’ve gone in to Sutton’s on two separate occasions; one to get my ring resized and another to get the claws tightened around the stone of my ring. Both times the staff were amazing (especially Tom), so friendly and respectful! Great speedy service and quality work! Will definitely come back for future jewellery needs.

The worst Winnipeg business I have ever dealt with. Went in for a resize because I didn't want my rings to be shipped out by the company purchased from.They resized all three of my rings a a couple weeks later my two wedding bands cracked on the solder line. I brought them back in and got them resoldered and a month later one of the rings cracked for a 2nd time.I brought it in to get fixed and now my ring is very thin. They should have told me on the beginning that they couldn't resized the ring because the band is too thin for them to work with. Instead they told me that I should have gone to the original place instead of trying to support a small business. They said that my rings that are only 2 years old are inexpensive and very worn out.The management handled things terribly from the beginning of the issue to the end. I'm so disappointed in this small business and will not recommend it to anyone !

My fiance and I had such an amazing experience with Sutton Smithworks, specifically Holly. We were in search of an engagement ring, and she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and all around awesome. We found the perfect ring and she made us feel so comfortable. We just got my fiance's wedding band custom designed there as well and it turned our perfect. Would definitely recommend them for their professionalism, unique products and custom designs. Had an amazing experience with Sutton. We went in looking for a quote on a custom engagement ring, however my partner had also found a ring on their website that had peaked her interest. Throughout our consultation, my partner must have tried on the ring (which was a significantly lower price than the custom piece we had in mind) about 3 or 4 times. At no point did we ever feel pressured to consider a more expensive piece. Even though it was a few months between the date of purchase and the proposal, Sutton made it very easy for us to come in and have the ring sized, which they did in about 45 minutes from the time we walked in the door to the time we left. The piece is gorgeous, my fiance is in love with it, and I would happily deal with them again in the future.

This is a lovely shop! I went in and had a custom engagement ring done. I discussed what I wanted and later that day I was sent an email with the design and different options for the diamond and gem sizes. After that they had the ring built, and it was ready in a week. The entire time I was keep updated with the progress. About 2 months later me and my fiancé went back to have the ring resized. The shop was able to down size it for us that day while we waited.

I had a ring repair done at Sutton’s. I hadn’t worn it for a couple years as it had a missing diamond. Tom showed me where I was missing claws on two more diamonds, my ring was in far worse shape than I thought. The repair was prompt ( <7days) and the cost was far less than I expected. Don’t take your repairs anywhere else. I later returned with my husband as he had lost his wedding band at the lake last summer. Peggy helped us choose a beautiful custom ring, designed and crafted at the shop. Again, I found the price reasonable, honesty and integrity do not cost extra.

If you're looking for an engagement ring, start here!I had a fantastic experience here after being less than impressed with nearly every other big name store in the city.They didn't have exactly what I wanted in stock or available for order so they very patiently walked me through designing a custom ring. Still ended up being cheaper than getting an off the rack ring from another store.After picking up the ring and proposing, my fiancée and I noticed a few small issues with the ring (I was too excited while picking it up to notice). We booked an appointment hoping it wouldn't cost a lot to fix. They told us it would be better to totally remake the ring... and that they would do it totally free of charge. They remade it in less than a week.It came back absolutely perfect, I could not be happier.Thank you so much!

I brought a badly damaged ring (from the 40's) that belonged to my Grandma to Sutton Smithworks. The band was cracked and pieces were missing. I wish I had a before picture to compare. I also brought my own gold rings that I no longer wore, and asked if they could repair my Grandma's ring, using the gold from the rings I brought in. The ring had huge sentimental value to me, so I was really nervous about it. It turned out BEAUTIFUL! The price was so reasonable, and the ring is restored to its original beauty (when my Grandpa gave it to her, all those years ago). I cannot say enough about the craftsmanship and quick, competent service!
