Barrie Farmers Market

One of the worst Farmers Markets in Ontario. Where are the farmers?? They should call it 'Arts & Crafts & Food vendor' market. This is an embarrassment to the city. They need to do better especially that there are so many farms nearby. What a shame...don't waste your time!

I love the Barrie Farmers Market! There are so many amazing vendors, delicious foods, and interesting items to check out. Plus there are often activities for the kids. Great way to spend a Saturday morning!

Barrie’s oldest Farmer Market. Always have fresh products and variety of vendors from all over the area. Make Sure to check it out every Saturday from 9 am - 1pm.

Great Market so much selectionGreat veg ,baked goods ,honey,fish ,plantsDelicious cinnamon buns ,Foccachia bread some with olives some with sun-dried tomato..And soft gingerbread cookies.Found the best lettuce mix .beside the fish guy.

The Barrie Farmers’ Market open every Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Barrie City Hall just steps away from Dunlop St and downtown Barrie is a fantastic shopping and social experience. You will find fresh food grown, raised and harvested locally. Take a moment to speak to any of the producers and entrepreneurs and you will easily see their passion and enthusiasm for what they do. Mouth watering baked goods and delicious looking food along with wine and home made bread, middle eastern food, samosas, honey products and even blueberry pierogi all can be found in this little local market. With plenty of parking nearby and a short walk to Kempenfelt Bay it’s a great way to spend your Saturday morning. Grab yourself a coffee at any one of the cafes on Dunlop and take a stroll up to the market and get to know your community. Enjoy!

Nice selection of local wares, fruit, veggies, and crafts. Awesome that they changed the hours to 930-130. Did find prices to be a bit high.

It use to be so much bigger with way more vendors. I found it to lack a lot of organic farmers. I also found that a lot of the vendors were very expensive.
