The City Market
The problem with City Market is that no one consistently stays in the market. It's impossible To get to know any of the vendors because they don't last for more than a few months. Everybody that's going in there as far as fruit vegetables has left after a short stay. There is a baker that is in the far corner That has been there for quite some time. I'm not sure the name of the bakery but There is the best thing going in there. It's clean. There's plenty of parking. But it's just bizarre that They go through so many vendors. You're better off just going to the old Ottowa Market, which is just down the street. They have consistent vendors their and they're great.

Has everything I need here. Ordered a turkey at Jeff’s, they were very nice and friendly. Picked up my produce which is always well priced and excellent quality. I stopped going to Remark and choose to only go here for produce. Then head over to the bakery and pick up some treats there. They didn’t last long. During regular times, little shops to look through. And a sandwich bar. I wish I would have started coming here years ago

Another market we visited last week. Most people not wearing masks. One butcher shop nobody was wearing masks and the guy working there was making what looked to be hamburg patties with his bare hands. EWWW!! Not sure of the name but it was next to Jeff's. Jeff's is where we ended up. Clean, polite and EVERYBODY was wearing MASKS AND GLOVES. Won't be back to this market either.

The City Market is still growing, but it is clean, has great vendors and much better hours than the Market up the road. Dutch House Farms has awesome summer sausage, and the buffalo milk cheese and other dairy products they sell are well worth a trip. Organic fruit an veggies available some days and the hummus is best in the region. Still needs more vendors, but I can get most of what I need there: a plesant alternative to heading to the supermarket.

The City Market
The City Market in Windsor, Ontario is a combination of deli, meat market, produce, healthy dry goods including dried beans, rice andmany herbs and spices. For an added shopping experience there are many booths with a variety of household gifts and some boutiques to browse as well. I would surely recommend this market to tourists and locals who are looking for a more hometown shopping experience!
