It was the best salon experience ever. Shauna did my haircut (long to mid)! I have wavy and frizzy hair but she styled it so well that I can just let my hair go down so easy. She gave me an amazing scalp massage for like 10min. It’s affordable too. I would highly highly recommend!! Everyone there was so nice. So welcoming.

I had a wonderful haircut from Crista! She understood how to handle my curl pattern, she listened to what I wanted and gave some suggestions on layers that worked out great, and she gave some great tips on how to style my hair curly. Overall one of the best haircuts I've had, I'll definitely be returning!

What a great time! My hairdresser was Say, and we felt like old friends even though we had just met. We were laughing and joking around the whole time. Of course, Say put focus and attention on my hair needs and made great product recommendations for my hair type. She also showed me how to diffuse my hair to really bring out my natural curls. I got a simple trim to cut off all the old, dead, coloured stuff, and got some bangs! Say was very encouraging as it's been a while since I've mixed up my hairstyle, and my last cut at a different shop was so bad. Reasonably priced, and I felt very taken care of. Thank you to everyone at Xtophers, keep up the great work! I will definitely be back!

Very friendly, welcoming and professional salon. Alva was junior stylist but did a great job asking good questions and seeking advice and feedback from more senior stylists. Colour was brilliant! I wasn’t entirely happy with the cut needed more weight taken out of the curls but they were more than happy to have me return and touch up. Would highly recommend.

Say is THE BEST. Made me feel super comfortable despite how nervous I was going in as I was donating my hair. I felt much more at ease having her in charge of the transformation and she gave me a wonderful cut. I'd recommend her for curly hair styles any day!

Today was my first time here and thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, the cup of water and the cooling fan ☺️ My stylist, Say, was wonderful at running options of how to fix a really, really bad pixie cut I got a month ago somewhere else. She was wonderful, quick and very experienced. For the first time, I met someone who clearly enjoys pixies or short hair in general. I shall be back. Thank you!

I was visiting in Kitsilano for 3 weeks and desperately needed a good hair trim. I looked for a salon near me and found the highly rated Xtophers on Broadway. I booked an online appointment with Julia Rybachok. I can’t say enough about the service I received from Julia. Before we even began, she listened carefully about what I wanted and how I currently style my hair. I had a couple of pics on my phone as a general example. She gave the most wonderful wash and head massage, then she was amazingly precise with her cutting techniques.She is also very pleasant and sweet.To me, the tell tale of a good cut is not what you look like when you leave the salon but how easy your hair is to manage once you are home. I put a few curls with my wand the next day and easy peasy. My hair is exactly what I wanted it to look like. It looks fuller than ever with her cut! When I am back in town, I would honestly see her again!

Had an appointment this morning with Shauna and she was incredible!! She spent time asking what I was looking for to make sure that she got my vision perfect, and my hair ended up even better than I had envisioned. She was chatty and friendly throughout and made the entire experience so pleasant :)

I had the pleasure of visiting this salon and getting my hair cut by Julia, and I have to say, I am absolutely thrilled with the results! Julia is an incredibly talented hair technician who really took the time to understand what I was looking for and made sure I was happy every step of the way.The salon itself is clean and very inviting. The staff were all friendly and professional, and I felt right at home as soon as I walked in. But the real star of the show was definitely Julia - she really went above and beyond to make sure my haircut was perfect, and I couldn't be happier with the results.If you're looking for a great salon with amazing staff, I highly recommend checking this place out. And if you're lucky enough to get Julia as your hair technician, you won't be disappointed - she's the best!
