The Beer Store

I know I look young, and I'm happy for your staff to ID me, as it's their job. But please don't embarrass me by saying I look about 14years old. Then laugh with the customer behind me about how young I look.I laughed it off with your staff, but it's humiliating.

This is one of the most friendly places in Waterdown. The young man at the counter ALWAYS has a smile on his face and will always acknowledge you when you walk in and is never afraid to engage in conversation, the lady with the very short hair will always make herself available to help......you can't really tell who the Manager is because almost everyone there takes on the responsibility of acting like a manager" which is paramount to any business. There is only one employee (a younger female) who hasn't bought into the "customer service mantra". Overall.....and in my opinion this store has the best staff in all of Waterdown. This store Manager should be credited for their leadership!!!"

The staff in this store are rude. They obviously hate doing the empties returns and you can often go in there and have to wait to check out because there is no one around.Burlington locations are much better.

For the first time in 20 years I met a energetic hard working employee. SHE WAS BLONE AND PIG TAILS. I refreshed me . She wasn't a la,y union employ. That needs her breaks and lunch . She cared

It used to be a great store with a walk-in fridge and a good selection of beer, but not any longer. Maybe pandemic is to blame. They don't have such basic beers as Waterloo Dark, for example. The craft beer section is pretty decent but less choice than in LCBO.

My favorite Beer Store by far. The staff are super friendly and always helpful! They know the store and stock inside and out. They even know what I want before I even ask for it!

Returned empties for the first time. I clearly didn’t know what i was doing. The lady was being INCREDIBLY rude and not clearly explaining what i was doing wrong and just kept throwing my bag at me saying “cant have things mixed in with cans.” And rudely saying “these are from america so im not taking them”She could have been a lot nicer and more friendly instead of being so rude. She’s a bigger lady with short blonde hair. Miserable. I won’t be going there again if that’s the service i’m going to get.

First time at this locatiornn, they take empties at this store .Quick in and out. Only 1 person per family allowed in the store and masks must be worn.

So, this location just started accepting returns, which is awesome. But. My mom, just wanting to purchase, was SECOND in line but was left standing in the hot sun while people with empties, who arrived after her, were invited in to complete their returns. The Beer Store employee said there were too many in the store buying so mom would have to wait: yet she continued letting those with returns in. What the employee didn't seem to grasp was that those who were returning empties were staying in the store to then buy so she had to watch at least 6 people go in ahead of her, having been displaced by those bringing empties, which I didn't think was a fair practice. They should remedy this but since they're the only game in town, I doubt they'll care.
