I'm grateful to have had Matt as our realtor. As first time home buyers (with not a huge budget), he went above and beyond and made us feel well taken care of, while also putting our needs ahead of making a sale. He was flexible with showings and always open to questions. Our virtual walk-throughs were a breeze. He was great about travelling an hour away to do them. And also very good at letting us know to watch for or be informed about - which we wouldn't have known otherwise. All in all, Matt's a trustworthy, patient, & knowledgeable realtor. I worked with Matt on two deals now along with numerous inquiries. He’s always very informative and quick on responses. His assistant/office staff Tay is also a huge help! If he’s busy with showings or other clients she gets back to you asap so there is no waiting around at all. The process was always easy and they did all the leg work in the background for it to be an easy transition whether buying or selling.

I can honestly say that my experiences with Matt Baynton and Island Home Collective was not only the best experience I’ve ever had with a realtor, but one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had – full stop! When it comes to everything you want in a realtor, Matt easily checks every single box – patient, knowledgeable, responsive to messages, friendly, and hardworking. Matt showed us a variety of homes over the course of almost an entire year, and never once did we feel any pressure to buy something that wasn’t right for us - in fact, he would even get us to think hard about whether a place we liked was truly right for our family’s needs. Matt was only interested in helping us find the right home, and wasn’t looking to make a quick sale, which can be a stereotype for some realtors. He hired cleaners when we sold our home, had professionals make a stunning video showcasing our place, and even loaded up his vehicle with stuff on our moving day so that we were out in time for the next family to move in. Matt went way above and beyond the expectations for any realtor, so much so, that when we had to move in during a snow storm, Matt was shoveling snow with us at our new place and the moving crew commented that they had never seen a realtor shoveling snow before. Even our kids were excited to go look at houses with Matt, as he was great with our kids and even bought them Toys’R’Us gift cards as a moving gift. If you are looking for a realtor, I cannot imagine anyone being more professional and dedicated as Matt, and my wife and I give him our highest recommendation – 11/10, 5 stars, simply amazing. We are so lucky to have stumbled upon his services and would recommend him as a realtor to anyone in an instant – thanks Matt!

Matt was fantastic. Was always available during my hectic schedule. I did not feel any pressure from him, which was exactly what I needed given my timeline. When it came time to put an offer on a property, Matt walked me through step by step as I was a first time buyer. Highly recommended and will be going back when it comes time to purchase again.

Matt has been absolutely amazing with finding me the right home while I am unable to see the properties myself. Every showing Matt would take the time to video each property and walk me through any potential issues there may be. With his background and knowledge of homes in the area I truly was so fortunate to have found him!

When helping us to look for our home, their focus was on our needs" instead of price. They NEVER pushed us to buy a higher priced home. They provided us with honest opinions for each home we viewed and explained what worked/not to worked for my family. Matt did not hesitate to tell us either when listing prices of houses were too high for the locations/conditions. He has good knowledge of building construction. He was able to make constructive suggestions for required modifications based on my family's needs. Taylor was always on top of making/changing appointments
