We used Tru Exteriors to renovate the exterior of our 100 year old home. We replaced almost all of our windows, the front and back doors, new Hardie board siding, and new fascia, soffit, and eaves trough.The work done was very quality and we are really happy with how everything turned out. The Tru team and various crews were nice and professional to deal with and responsive to questions and concerns throughout the process. They are also very on top of change orders and timely sign offs on additional costs, which after using a few different contractors on other projects I really appreciated.We took one star off because it was a pretty lengthy process, and with that there was a bit of up and downs with communication and timing of completion on the project. That said, there were a number of things that contributed to that, with some extra structural support work required on our very old house, a siding order mix up from the supplier, Christmas holidays, cold spells in February, etc. So in fairness, I’m not sure that is typical and could just be specific to the circumstances that happened on our project.At the end of the day the work done was very high quality which is the most important thing you want when ending a project, and we literally have people walking by in the neighbourhood commenting on how great the house looks constantly now.

We had an amazing experience with Tru Exteriors. We had hail damage on our vinyl siding and wanted to replace it with Hardie board. Tru Exteriors was one of the contracts listed on the James Hardie website. They were by far the best company we dealt with during our entire renovation. Chris, Doug and Marin were great to work with and made our design come to life. Their attention to detail definitely showed from beginning to end. We love our new home and highly recommend them.

We used Tru Exteriors to redo the exterior of our house which included the installation of Hardie Board Siding, new soffits, and new eavestroughs.We are very happy with the results and the look of the house. They sent a hard working crew that knew what they were doing, worked efficiently and came every consecutive day till the job was done. At the end of every day they cleaned up the worksite. They paid attention to the smallest of details, for example, they made sure the mounting plate for the address numbers was installed into the siding with drip edging, and that this was all properly chalked.An invoice was not sent to us till every detail was taken care of, including touchups, and the installation of exterior lights and outlets. There were no extra charges except for some unforeseen rotten wood underneath our old siding that had to be replaced, for which they charged us basically the cost of some new wood, with a minimal labour charge.Overall, the house looks great and I know our house is well protected by the new exterior.Thank you Chris, Doug, Colin, the field crew, and Sam for a job well done with minimal stress for me and my family.John Kuhn

I did a lot of research before choosing Tru Exteriors to repair our hail damaged home. All siding, soffit, fascia, trim, eavestrough/gutters, downspouts were replaced, it was a huge project. We went with James Hardie Cement Fiber siding (from original vinyl siding), and since Tru Exteriors is a preferred installation company" for James Hardie Fiber Cement siding

After receiving quotes from three popular siding companies, my husband and I decided to hire True Exteriors to do a complete exterior renovation of our house during the summer of 2021. From start to finish, this company and it’s employees (Chris, Colin, Doug, Oggy and Matt) exceeded our expectations. The products they used were excellent quality and the warranty is second to none. We opted to replace our cedar siding with Hardie Board and we absolutely love it. In a matter of weeks, our dated 1970s home went from boring to stylish. I literally do not have one negative thing to say about this company and therefore they are more than deserving of this five star review.

I hired Tru Exteriors to do a complete reno to the exterior of my home. They installed James Hardie fiber cement siding and trim, along with Lux steel siding for a ‘wood-look’ feature near the entrance. Under the siding, they replaced the building envelope with Tyvek wrap and a continuous layer of R6 foam board to improve the energy performance. I also had them install some box beams and post cladding to upgrade some wooden features, along with replacing the fascia, soffits, eavestroughs and downspouts. Starting from the detailed itemized quotation provided by Chris to the work done impeccably by their siding installer Oggy and the beams and cladding installed by Doug, the quality of work exceeded my expectations and they did a good job of leaving the place clean and tidy during the work. Any questions I had during the process were answered promptly by Colin and others on their team and the final cost was just as quoted. I can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to upgrade both the look and performance of their home.

Tru Exteriors did a wonderful job replacing the damaged siding on my house. There was always at least two workers everyday, and often more to make completion of the job faster. They were easy to work with, very responsive to any questions during the process and did a great job. Great workmanship and my house looks beautiful. Tru also replaced our hail damaged Facia and eavestroughs. Again an excellent job with very high quality materials.

I would recommend Tru Exteriors to anyone looking for a stress free project process for new siding. From the initial meeting the Tru team communicated well and was available for questions until the final walk around. Doug & Alex were fantastic and the end result is a reflection of their professionalism.

They removed the vinyl siding and installed insulation/Hardie board. The work is great and the finished product looks great. The team cleaned up well everyday. We have had a lot of comments from people who pass by. It will certainly improve the comfort level of the house.
