Great experience at the small batch tasting. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping choose the perfect set of flight tasting. There was no reservation required at the time; albeit it was a weekday afternoon and not too busy. We were able to taste 8 different beers between two people; and some individual others. We were lucky enough to taste and discover some favourites, like the Radler, Radler Neon, Cracked Canoe, Small Batch Keylime - it's definitely worth going out of your comfort zone to try some of the new types.

I recently visited the Moosehead Small Batch Taproom and had a great experience. One of the highlights was the opportunity to drink in the midst of the pilot brewery, which added a unique and enjoyable touch to the visit. Beyond their well-known lager, they offer a variety of beer styles to cater to different preferences.Sadly the Tmave Pivo kicked just before I arrived which was disappointing since I love Czech beers, but I was particularly impressed with their exceptional Helles Bock, which had a perfectly balanced but malty flavor profile. The staff at the taproom were pleasant and provided excellent service. Additionally, they have a selection of swag and beers available for purchase. Parking is free onsite and easy. There is also outdoor patio seating and a gas fire pit to huddle around. Overall, the Moosehead Small Batch Taproom is a fantastic spot to relax, enjoy great beers, and get a glimpse into the brewing process.

Amazing Friendly staff, a great selection of beer. They do not serve food, but there are many wonderful eating establishments nearby. They can do delivery or you can bring it, to eat it. Enjoy!!!

Last evening we enjoyed a visit to the Moosehead Small Batch. It was our first time on the new patio and I have to say it is amazing!!! I knew there were heaters but I had no idea there were fire pits as well. The service was wonderful. Definitely looking forward to going back!!! ☺️

Moosehead has a reputation with my friends as being weak beer. Here in British Columbia the local beers tend to be pungent, funky, and bold. Moosehead is hard to fit into that spectrum...My wife wanted to visit, have a beer... I was less than excited about the idea.BOY WAS I WRONG!Welcome to Moosehead Small Batch!!There's a beer for all tastes, and the patio is amazing and comfortable.If this place was located in Vancouver, it would be packed.One of the staff came and sat with us, as it wasn't busy. We chatted about local interests, as well as the beer. The gose was my favorite - frankly, all the beers were worthy for a try. You won't be disappointed!

Great place to hangout. Nice customer service and people are friendly. Great sitting arrangements with few fireplace tables. Pets are allowed so people can bring their pets.Moosehead Radler is their specialty.

Absolutely great experience! Was my first time in SJ, and was glad that we stopped at the small batch taproom. My only critique was that we didn't get to sit on the patio due to weather, but there was plenty of space inside to enjoy our flight of beer.Thanks Steve for the tour!!!

Good drinks, good staff, nice fire table to sit at. Great place if your looking for casual drinks but no food.

Good to hang out with buddies and taste different varieties of freshly made beer. I personally love Radler and mango beer taste. Moose head light is all time favourite.
