EOK Tutor - Elements of Knowledge

My daughter is taking both math and English programs from EOK. Both tutors, Virginia and Cindy are excellent. They always tailor teaching materials based on my daughter’s progress, take great efforts to make class engaging, and are very patient to answer questions. My daughter has made considerable advances in both subjects, and gained strong confidence. She really enjoys learning with Virginia and Cindy.

Jeff was one of, if not the most effective tutor I have ever had. I went from struggling in grade 10 math with a 56% average to excelling in my grade 12 class with a 96% average. Jeff makes sure that his students are fully prepared for upcoming math lessons and tests. Thank you Jeff!!!

I have been going here for 14 years now. It has a great learning environment with teachers who are very helpful. It has prepared me for high school and university, helping me succeed and achieve my learning goals. I would recommend EOK to anyone who is struggling to keep up in school as they re-teach fundamental concepts to help you get a better understanding of school concepts.

EOK is amazing!! I had Jeff for Calculus, and he was super patient and very approachable. They are focused on helping you understand the concepts, and tailor your learning to a suitable and comfortable pace. It's been many years since I graduated, but Jeff and Philip are two teachers I will never forget. They didn't just show me how to solve math problems, but how to understand them as well. They're unafraid to teach new techniques that challenge and make sense of the methods that are taught in school. In no time at all, I went from falling behind, to achieving honour roll.The environment is so drastically different than what you get in school - you can tell they have a contagious passion for education and mathematics, and this made learning, fun.

EOK made me go from despising math to actually enjoying learning about and doing it. I had Jeff as my tutor and he is the most effective and fun tutor I’ve ever had!

EOK was and continues to be an amazing workplace and environment for students to learn and grow. I have Virginia for Grade 11 Functions and Philip for Grade 11 Chemistry and I cannot stress enough how much it has helped. They are both able to teach a whole unit in two classes which both last around 2-3 hours. This is especially helpful in my school environment because it gives me the opportunity to be caught up and ahead of the rest of my class. They are both extremely patient and understanding to new and unknown concepts, and aren't afraid to teach new shortcuts or techniques on how to get to an answer another way. I highly recommend, my experience so far has been nothing but amazing!

Jeff and the EOK team are passionate, articulate, and inspiring teachers that always are committed to the success of any student taught by them. Lectures were always easy to understand, and questions were always answered in great detail - EOK is amazing!

My tutor, Jeff, is very organized and supportive when it comes to helping me with my homework problems. I was falling behind in one of my first-year university math courses and he caught me up to speed by thoroughly explaining any questions I had. He gave me access to resources he had on math topics I didn't quite grasp and I look forward to each session I have with him!
