Seadoo engine was bogging and surging at full throttle. Not subtle or anything: it severely bogged, and oscillated been bogging and surging, but only at ~80% throttle or higher. So I brought it in. They tested it out in a test pond and said it was working fine. Skeptical, I brought it home, took it out, and the problem persisted. Frustrated, I brought it back again. Again, they checked and said nothing was wrong. So I googled the problem myself, and told them to replace the fuel lines and clean the carbs. Hoooweee, that fixed it!On the one hand, I guess I'm glad that they didn't grasp at straws trying random things and wasting my money. But on the other hand, diagnostic effort was rather lacking, and I had to find the solution on my own.
