Main Street Church

I have been to a lot of churches and a lot of different denominations of churches and I find this is one 1"of the best ones I've ever been to.I believe that this church is filled with the spirit !every time I go I am swept away with emotion. My ears and my heart always hear what they need to hear.It is a big church With a wide range of followers from young to old So no matter your age you will fit in .But because of its size It can be easy to become a wall flower but if you reach your hand out there's always somebody to take it.Having said that if you do what I did for the 1st year of going and you just come in take a seat and leave it can feel a little lonely.But I'm realizing that's because I didn't stick around to get to know them. It really does take 2 to have a conversation.But if you go up To any one of the volunteers and you extend your hand There will always be somebody to take it and if you have any questions they are willing to take the time To answer them.It's not just a Sunday service church they have life groups And many other things going on throughout the week That you are welcome to join.I think a great way to get to know them is to go on to their website watch some of their services And see what workshops and retreats they have coming up. That was how I got more acquainted with the People of This church was I joined the set free retreat.Come a little early

This is a vibrant church! The services are down to earth with really good, relevant teaching and wonderful worshipful music. In September they celebrated Fall Kickoff with the introduction of all the programs available, 21 baptisms and free donuts which could be harvested" from Donut Trees! These are committed Christians who who are making an impact in their community. Highly recommended!"

The Christmas Eve service was pretty good however some of the slushy snow near the entrances sould have been moved a little.

I have felt so blessed every time I visit this church community. I am so glad my daughter is involved in a Christ centered church that nurtures and supports her spiritual growth. I see the evidence of Christ living and moving in her and I am grateful that she is part of this body of believers.

I was so blessed with the worship service this morning. The Holy Spirit was flowing like a peaceful river and the warmth was like sunshine in my soul. I really felt Gods presence this morning and to hear the message that Pastor Shawn brought before the congregation was powerful and strong. God has a new commandment for His people to love one another just as Christ loves everybody. I have heard the book of Peter preached before, but this morning the sinful things as little as junk food thoughts of deceitful, covet ness, bad thoughts, trying to cover ourselves with a lie, are not acceptable before God. Peter denied Christ and later came to repent and tell us truth about how to live as he had been taught by Christ. Excellent message for repentance and to get ones lives in order for the coming of judgement day. Thank you Pastor Shawn for the truth.

I really enjoy Main Street church. The service isn’t boring and drab. IT’s definitely not the kind you fall asleep too. Many times I have cried tears of joy in realizing what Jesus has done for us all. This is one of the main things the body of Christ should be doing. Lifting us all in Christ Jesus and I definitely learn things going here. The only thing I could say that could be better is that people need to talk to new comers more. That’s on the whole church tho, not just leadership. 5 stars !

I emailed this church regarding holding a funeral service and a date we were thinking about holding the service. I received an email a week later just responding they were booked, no offering of different dates or anything to obtain the business for the services. Unless you are a member of this church I would not recommend contacting them regarding funeral/ celebration of life services

I moved out to Chilliwack in 2021 and was in need of a new church to attend. I was invited by a friend to come to a service in February 2021 and after that, I never left. Pastor Shawn brings Jesus to life. He is not shy to talk about biblical truth; I find it really valuable that he is stating that abortion is murder and that boys can't be girls and girls can't be boys. From a biblical perspective, all of those statements are true and he brings in bible verses and stories to reinforce God's design for marriage and family. I really value his insight into being bold our dark work and this series about being bold is exactly what I needed to hear in my faith journey. It's not Pastor Shawn who is doing the convicting of my heart but the holy spirit working through him that gives him the words to help our hearts turn towards Jesus. I don't feel like a seat filler here at MainStreet, I feel like a valuable person that matters. I have since joined the youth ministry as a volunteer and it's been a joy to become part of the MainStreet community. 10/10 recommend.
